Interactivity.

In Oblivion you were able to move things around clumsily and place things on tables or surfaces, but what interactivity would you like to have in skyrim?
How would you liketo interact with the game world, rather than just constantly fighting?

Interactivity like:
Turning on your stove before you cook your food. (Myst 4)
Sitting down at chairs and tables. (Gothic 2)
Felling a tree and watching it topple over. (Crysis)
Starting up the fire place.
Toasting Toast in the Toaster.
Seeing your self working on an anvil. (Gothic 4)
Grinding ur sword on a sharpening stone. (Gothic 3)
Mixing potions at an alchimists table. (Gothic 4)

And have reason to do these things, Like adjusting disposition to other sitting NPCs, or improving skills, or improving the quality of food.

Minus the whole toaster thing. They don't even have light-bulbs.

Sitting down at chairs and tables. (Gothic 2)

That was in Oblivion. Sooo...

Toasting Toast in the Toaster.

There aren't toasters.

Also, it's been said that everything you can see NPCs do, you will also be able to do, which some people take as being able to act out all animations just as the NPCs do, such as sweeping, etc.

It sounds like you mainly just want a lot of animations for immersion purposes. I personally think BGS could learn a lot about player interaction from games such as Dark Messiah and Mirror's Edge. Considering they are adding in finishing moves, BGS is clearly going in that direction in some fashion.

@Velorien- I honestly believe that was in regards solely to jobs and nothing else. I will not expect to have the ability to sweep, nor would I ever do it as it would never in any way benefit me or the game.

BGS stands for Bethesda Game Studios. The one and only game developer that we all know and love that is responsible for The Elder Scrolls series and Fallout 3.

Sitting down in Oblivion was pointless. If just to add immersion, but even that was screwed up since they've positioned the camera way too high.

The point is immersion. Therefore it is not pointless. The whole point of this thread as far as I can tell is for 'pointless' things that will add immersion and do no more. Me? I'd like smithing/alchemy etcto be more interactive, in both first and third person view. I'd also like to be able to move items and place them on shelves and racks less clumsily.

Ah, a common misconception. Bethesda Softworks is the publisher (they do far more than just TES and Fallout 3, for example they were publishers for Fallout: NV, as well as being publishers for Brink, Hunted, Prey 2, RAGE, and many other titles). Bethesda Game Studios, which is what most people generally refer to, is the actual game developer.

The more immersion the better I say. Ultimately that has always been BGS's goal, and if they don't reach it in Skyrim, I hope to see it achieved (or closer) in Fallout 4 or TES VI.

@worm82075- Ah, that makes sense. I just looked at my copy of Morrowind and noticed it only said Bethesda Softworks. ZeniMax Media Inc. likely split them up, considering BGS is no longer the only game developer they have, and as a result they need a publisher to go between all the games.

Bethesda Softworks used to be one company, both developer and publisher. During Oblivion's development the company split into two separate entities, Bethesda Game Studios(developer) and Bethesda Softworks(publisher)
