» Wed Feb 06, 2013 2:07 am So lately I've been trying to write a couple of fan fics but I've been plagued by writers block. In turn I've decided to turn one of the stories into an Rp, an adventure Rp.
I did a bit of digging into the Posiden energy company and found that not only were they a source of energy, they also had produced defence contracts with the government. They were rumoured to produce armour (among other weapons) stronger than power armour. It was nick named 'Project Athena'. Here's a basic idea on what would be happening during the Rp,
Its ten years since the war with the Enclave had ended. With the added technology gained from their victory over the Enclave, the Brotherhood obliterated any and all factions who stood against them throughout the capital wasteland, including both the super mutants and the outcasts. With peace in the east and fresh water, they begin to rebuild, carve an empire out of ruin.
The Brotherhood’s leader is Sarah Lyons, with the Elder before her passing away peacefully in his sleep. She continues her father’s work by continuing to help the people of the wastes, forgetting the old ideology of finding and protecting technology.
Squire Arthur Maxim is now twenty and the newest Knight.
Sarah Lyons has outlawed the old ideology of the BOS, finding and preserving technology from the old world.
Arthur, however, is curious. He believes that both ideologies of the brotherhood are important. The technology of the old world needs to be kept out of the wrong hands and with it the brotherhood can use it to protect the helpless.
During his time in the citadel Arthur began to work closely with one of his close friend who is in the scribes. He became interested in Poseidon Energy, the pre war world’s largest power company.
Upon further investigation, Arthur and a friend found further evidence of defence contracts between the U.S governments and later the Enclave.
Through the Enclave archives they learned of projects designed by Poseidon energy, including weapons and armour. As Arthur researched more and more, one name kept appearing, “Project Athena”, from what they could tell the enclave was looking on the east coast for the project to help them in their war with the brotherhood and the rest of the wastes.
Soon a man wearing power armour is found exiting a previously thought collapsed metro tunnel. He is a survivor from the Western brotherhood. The NCR's power out west grew after obtaining hoover dam. They were able to defeat their old enemies, the Brotherhood.
The Western BOS scattered, most moving to the mid-western BOS. A team made an attempt to reach he Eastern BOS but the BOS soldier is all that made it.
Sarah Lyons refuses to help the Mid Western and Western BOS just as they had once forgotten Lyons.
Arthur has other ideas, he and a squad (Rp'ers) disband the BOS and search for the weapons and armour created by Posiden Energy to help the remaining BOS win the war.
So that's it, I'll need a Co-GM preferably one who could play the scribe (Arthurs friend) that's if people are interested of coarse
