A interesting Desert Bandit drawing.

Post » Mon Aug 24, 2009 3:11 pm

I just found this image whilst browsing through "Bandit" images and it really struck me as a perfect imagination of a Desert Bandit.

I just love the idea of covering yourself in robes from head to toe with rips and imperfections due to the harsh conditions and endless battle against enemies, the deadly combination of melee and range whilst remaining logical and accurate, after all you wouldn't expect to see a human venturing through a desert armoured in a thick power suit would you.

As it's kind of on topic do you think we should have the ability to customize our clothes and armour and the clothes condition will be based on how we use them in fighting. Please don't be offended by anything shown above, I'm only stating my opinion, I mean no harm by any comments, replies and topic that I post in or about.

It's a nice design indeed.
However, i do expect to find soldiers not bandits in power armor. Why? Remember that they got a refrigeration system of sorts, and they purify human waste which in turn becomes water.

Glad somebody is on the ball, I was waiting for that very comment about the built in ventilation and recycling systems inside power amour but it still is illogical to picture someone venturing through the wasteland carrying maybe 200kg of steel on your body, especially through a climate as far fetched and unstable as the Fallout universe. Yeah, the Armour might have built in hydraulics powered by micro-cells so in reality your barely carrying 10kg but wouldn't it be more appealing to many players if you could customize and maintain your armour, hide, robes.ETC.. How you would want then, and not how the game gives them to us. Hey Jamie, forget taking down that power armor with Big Guns. Go for the best of the best in Small Guns, the Gauss Rifle. Or just throw plasma grenades like crazy. Critical + Knockdown = Win against large enemies.
