I did the Transmundane Quest before ever visiting Apocrypha and during the TQ quest I told Herma I would never serve him "demon!" (or is it "monster!" ? ) Anyway, when I finally got to Apocrypha Herma was all "Heh, I knew you'ld be back despite your brave words, mortal fool." I thought that was a rather nice touch changing up the dialogue based on how you reacted to him in his other quest.
