who do you think is a interesting Historical figure?



I find Joan of Arc extremely interesting.. She was a skilled Soldier in a day where women were considering nothing more than wives and mothers, breaking out of gender roles before people ever realized Gender roles were a thing.. although, that may have been because she was a little on the mad side...

I find Nikola Tesla to be a very interesting historical figure. Not only was his work literally decades (if not centuries) ahead of his time, but he didn't go after people who violated his patents because he wanted to encourage scientific progress...not hinder it with lawsuits or barriers. To me, he was nothing if not dedicated to his work, right up until he passed away.

On that note, the fact that the Tesla Motors CEO is personally funding the construction of a Tesla Museum for about 25 million is nothing short of amazing. Not only is Elon Musk my favorite businessman, but an honor to the Tesla name.
