Wouldn't it be epic if there was a side mission where we inadvertently take a high dosage of jet only to experience and play through a drug-induced hallucination where we follow the Vault Boy and have wacky adventures?

And then he turns in to a giant vault boy with a super sledge hammer.
Considering the amount of narcotic substances, I'm offended on a certain level that bad trips have not been more a thing yet.
In the past two games, there have been TWO instances of drug induced hallucinations...
Once in Point Lookout.
Once in Honest Hearts.
We need more "...I'm seeing the Green Vault Boy again, Piper...I keep telling you to keep me off this!"
Piper: "DON'T FOLLOW THE GREEN VAULT BOY!"
"Gonna do the thing."
Piper: "OMG."
Only to be snatched up by Alduin. This leads to an epic chase sequence with the player riding a steampunk horse with red LED eyes named Shadowmere.
This reminds me of the missions in GTA 5 where you smoke weed and start tripping balls and have to kill aliens
Come on, Brahmin [censored] is not that hallucinogenic, right? Right?
Yeah but I doubt it'd be in the base game. Hell, Beth caved into Australia over the naming of its drugs. They wouldn't stand up to them over portraying drugs as fun. As a mod though.. that would be fun.
I can see the player getting forced into a couch and have Sigmund-Vaultboy talk to him/her.
Or vaultboy appearing only to you, and shouting, "just do it!".
This came to my mind as well. I think it would be funny.
You know it probably could go for wild wasteland perk if its in the game.
That would make sense for seeing the lil pipboy to help you kill aliens which turn out to be deathclaws.
I always thought they should have made the pint size slasher mask a vaultboy mask in the simulation; one that either swaps the head, or swaps out the whole appearance. Missed opportunity.
