Got what I think could be a pretty interesting idea for the new Fallout. It could be as small as a wacky encounter or as in-depth as a main plot line or DLC. Picture 2 eccentrics in opposite ends of a town/fortress/compound or whatever. They have amassed a stockpile of weapons, gear, artifacts, etc. They have a vault that would make the Sierra Madre look like a piggy bank. They defend their piece of the Wasteland better than anyone who has come before them. Anyone who attempts to infiltrate their compound is killed without remorse and their loot is added to the inventory. These two figures scan the Wastes from their opposing towers for the ultimate prize. An old world relic has given them the motivation to do anything and everything they can to lure this "white whale." Among their vast inventories are some of the most rare, most powerful and most unusual items. Although their collection is contains these amazing items, it is old world money they are after. Each possesses a wealth of old world money that is unimaginable. Now here we get to the good part... The motivation behind their insatiable appetite for this paper money is... An old rap video where they are "making it rain" on voluptuous woman and a "gentleman's" magazine that gives them the impression that money attracts the most beautiful and exotic women. Just imagine the possibilities here. I am sure there will be some improvements or critiques on this idea but really think about the potential for hilarity and adventure. Haven't quite figured how the main character would get in, may have to dress as a woman(could be funny) or they lure the character in for some sort of assistance. Let me know what y'all think.
