Interesting Orc Fact

Post » Wed Sep 28, 2011 10:25 am

well im reading Lord of Souls right now got it in from pre-order. (FROM THIS POINT ON SPOILER WARNING)

and apparently Orsinium was sacked by Redguards and Bretons in the interval between oblivion and skyrim and all the orc refugees fled to skyrim so we might be seeing a high orc population in skyrim and i dont think the nords will be too happy about that. sorry about the spoiler guys.

I KNEW IT!!! I knew the Redguards and Bretons would take this time of chaos to attack Orsinium. Those two races just cannot contain the joy they receive from killing big green people.

I don't like the fact that both Orcs and Dunmer have lost their provinces.

Well, I think it was Summu who said that the mass majority of NPCs he saw were Nords and Orc, so maybe that holds some truth.

That's awesome well not for the Orcs. I would agree with a minor spoiler warning but this is something that you would find out in Lore or in the game when a loadup screen pops up. I wonder why they sacked the city I guess it was a perfect opportunity.

You said Redguards and Bretons. Does it say which race initiated or took a larger role in the invasion of Orsinium?

I don't like the fact that both Orcs and Dunmer have lost their provinces.

Gives them reason to maybe start an alliance and stir [censored] up.

Dunmer: Hey, you accursed and lost your homeland too?

Orc: Yup.

Dunmer: Team-up?

Orc: Sure

[censored] goes down.

This is actually really bad for the Orcs due to them only living 60 years. The Dark Elves can survive Vvardenfell being destroyed and the lizards taking over the mainland but Orsinium being sacked and the Orcs not having a province at all is not going to help their population numbers.

Poor Orcs...or to shorten it, Porcs. Seriously though, maybe this could setup a DLC called Orsimer Rising where you have to find a "safe house" in Skyrim to house the orcs.

I just finished reading the book.

Spoiler
The Orcs all went to Skyrim who could be saved.

That book was amazing. Lol, and there were some funny jokes... and times that I, admittedly. teared up. Oh god it was so good.

An Orc and Dunmer alliance would be cool. Here's another interesting fact; In Oblivion, looking at the CS reactions, both Dunmer and Orcs are the most hated races.

If you want to learn how to make a spoiler click on the little blue circle in the upper right of the post window that has the question mark on it. Scroll down and it will tell you how to make a spoiler box. :)

I don't like the fact that both Orcs and Dunmer have lost their provinces.

I Do.

The Dunmer are Sly and Evil Race
The Orismer are Savages,

They are both cursed, which means they shouldn't have a province :)

Spoiler
Well, the Nords were kind to the Dunmer and refused to "kick them while they're down.", most of the Dunmer moved to Frosty Island that's spelled something like Solestheim and live primarily on the southern coast of there, not in Skyrim, the Orcs were also given refuge in Skyrim.

I Do.

The Dunmer are Sly and Evil Race
The Orismer are Savages,

They are both cursed, which means they shouldn't have a province :)

After those beautiful characters who were Orcs and Dunmer in the book... You wouldn't feel that way. I teared up twice because of BOTH of those races!

That's a shame. I figured Orsinium wouldn't last, especially with the Empire (their main supporter) gone.
But I was hoping things would turn out differently for the pig children.

Was Lord of Souls actually good? The Infernal City was mediocre outside references to the TES universe, which was doubly painful as the concept of Umbriel was pretty rad.

since there's no 'spoilers' forum as of yet if we are going to post a spoiler, most of us should learn.

1.) enter spoiler text
2.) highlight it with mouse
3.) under 'other styles' drop down menu in post editing box select *gasp* spoiler.....

Wow.. the Nords are going to be super pissed getting all of these refugees.. and NON HUMAN ones at that. They already hate the Mer because they believe Tamriel belongs to the race of man. I wonder if there's going to be some hate on Redguards and Bretons now though. The Nords probably will feel hostile towards them for causing this influx of refugees.
