An interesting point of questioning

From the Crysis Wiki:
According to Cevat Yerli the producer of Crysis series, this will be the last instalment in Crysis series but there still can be games that will be featured in Crysis universe.
So, how would that work exactly? Obviously there's going to be no more single player Crysis game, according to Crytek and their future plan anyways. But, how would a game 'featured in the Crysis universe' work? Like, a F2P CoD-Clone that just hints at the Nanosuit's existence, but you run around playing CELL vs Marine? Oh wait, we already have Warface (just without the Nanosuit hints).

Honestly I only thing I could think of would be a Co-Op MP game. No idea how that would work.

Thoughts, community?

It means that the next game will be a multiplayer-only game that has no plot and is a mindless copy of .

Crytek could just make a multiplayer game, which focuses on Power Struggle. It would at least attract more players than a normal FPS with Nanosuits does.

I'd try to get the interview where Cevat said that before discussing much about this sentence.

Crytek should just focus on new IP and forget about Crysis. They ruined the franchise. The only thing I can think of is a Crysis Wars 2 that is free-to-play, but I'm sure they'd find a way to screw it up so they should spare themselves from further embarassment.

The time to expand on Crysis was with Crysis 2 and instead they did the exact opposite. Crysis 3 was already a case of too little too late and now its time to move on.

They could do well with Warface, the PVE aspect was fun, haven't tried the PVP game modes tho.. Wouldn't hurt to release on the new consoles too

Hopefully this isn't the last Crysis, but of its gonna continue lie this then maybe I will hope :/

Warface is one of the worst games I have ever played, the PvP was beyond horrible as well as the simple quality control and revenue model of the game. Sorry, the PvE isn't going to make anybody play more than a dozen hours.

Crytek needs to roll out Homefront 2, expand on the SP and balance the MP while keeping it unique and expanding on the ideals.
