- one house in each city is fine with me, although I'm not sure what you mean by "after they leave"

- I'm split on romance

- I would like friendships

- I would like hardcoe mode

- I would really like more realistic taverns

Interesting poll... One of the better i've seen.

Anyway. I'll Likely end up killing the inhabitants of the first home i see, and any one who disagrees with me moving my stuff in. Just how i roll.

I'm for bioware romance. It actually feels like you develop with your party, but i think it could have been a tad deeper, rather than "you can talk to this person, at this time, now, and now you can speak with them again, then oh, they have new info to share, go chat."

I like friends. Friends are cool.

hardcoe? sure. Why not. Might be done right this time who knows?

As far as taverns...

Taverns are awesome hangouts, even for a player. They can provide a good, real atmosphere and a homely feel that can incite roll play in the less inclined when done right. I feel, if they put enough effort into making taverns seem alive, and welcoming, that they would be a wonderful retreat from the cold harsh winds of skyrim.

I don't really need more than one house, but if the quest to obtain a given house is interesting, then I'm game.

I'm not sure I'm crazy about any feature involving constant companions - especially friends or lovers - I got pretty tired of all of the suicidal sidekicks in Oblivion, so unless they can fine tune that aspect of it, I'm not in favor.

Picking up quests over a pint at a tavern sounds like a fine idea.

hmm, so this is just a kinda compilation of polls, can't really imagine this forum generating a focused topic discussion.

but anyway:

-houses: don't really care, never use the preset ones

-romance: sorry, off putting for me. never found a NPC with the right personality I guess :sadvaultboy:

-hardcoe: I want a hardcoe game, not a hardcoe mode

-taverns: more realistic the better. I have faith in bethesda doing a good job with this.

-friendships: I don't want friends, but I do want relationships, like a guy trusts me or doesn't, owes me a favor or wants me dead.

I see your point but be realsistic in a game no matter what is the goal of many game developers. Even in a game with dragons. Oh and nice melons by the way :celebration:

I would like it to be better than BioWare romance though.

It was just "talk to this person after 3 missions, then have six before the last mission".

Sorry didnt mean to put it that way, I meant the "Intiment" part. For the next topic!

Campsites, should we be able to make them?
Should our person talk?

I kind of liked being able to hav multiple homes, yes more houses please. :celebration:

Romance: Meh, I'm indifferent. If they put it in, its in, if they dont, its not so.. yah.. :celebration:

hardcoe Mode: Why not, I quite enjyoyed it in New Vegas made it feel more real, helped with RPing and immersion.

Friendships: It'd be cool, but I kind of in my mind have it grouped in with Romance. It'd be cool, btu not neccesarily required.

-hardcoe mode is a win (if it is in)
-as for the Tavern...1,3,4

Cool, But I go back to my original point, Oblivion barely had any thing in it to make at an M rated game and thats what made me mad. So in Skyrim, no gore no nudity dragons friendships AND better Taverns. Pretty realistic without going to far to turn people off

How does this make it more m rated? Not being a smart ass, just wondering what your opinion is on it.

For one I didnt say it made it M-Rated. I just made a point that Oblivion had nothing that should have made it M-Rated, not the point of the post. The point is No limbs flying and no Nudity BUT It adds new and exciting features without turning people off my making it to Mature for TES

I agree lol just to be clear I want Realistic features in a game. Thats all, even if its not as "Intiment" as i might be in Bioware games. A kiss or a best friendship since Dovahkin is on a Dragon slaying Suicide mission a kiss on the cheak because everyone know the hero always gets the girl. Conan for instance ;)

1. I'd like a house in each city.
2. If we had romance I would like it to be like how it was in KotOR with Bastilla. (Which means no six)
3. I'd like a war buddy
4. Yes to hardcoe mode
5. I want a very lively tavern.

I'd like kissing, maybe a little bit more 'softcoe' stuff, though we could stop at six. For immersion I guess if pressed I'd have to say 'Yeah let's have six', but it'd have to be fade to black and none of those stupid sounds like in Fable. Just 'it happened' and then maybe you talk about it afterwards with your romantic interest.

Forming friendships would be great. I really felt like they had something with Mordryn Oreyn (may have misspelled), from the Fighter's Guild. He starts off treating you like any grunt, little respect, all business but as the Fighters Guild unfolds you get the impression that you and him are the two lone activists trying to save your guild, and he depends on you to be his supporter and you depend on him for continued advancement and duties. Then you go to a dungeon together, torture an Argonian together, and by the time you become the Fighters Guild leader you offer him a position as your second in command and he says 'Well I'm really too old for it...but I guess someone needs to make sure you don't bring the guild down around our ears. Haha! I'm in!' He was pretty cool...

So yeah, more stuff like that would be cool. And the option to invite your friend(s) with you to do quests or raid dungeons and split the reward with them. Maybe make them invincible like quest NPC's are in Oblivion...it's just I can't trust the AI to keep my friend alive or not have him take some dumb risk and ruin the relationship with his dismemberment.

Maybe you can designate a single NPC as your 'best friend' provided certain pre-requisites are met (member of same faction, or certain shared interest/goal, high disposition, same race or religion)
