Interface Mod Help

When starting on the PC Version of this game I thought, like everyone else, that the lettering in UI was definitely too big for a PC game. All the dialogue is king-sized, you have to scroll down to see all the options, and inventory management is a bit of a hassle. So, I wanted to get http://fallout3.nexusmods.com/mods/43//? to spruce things up. There was no change. So I went on my merry way, figuring I would get used to it. I couldn't, so today I tried using http://fallout3.nexusmods.com/mods/47/?tab=1&navtag=%2Fajax%2Fmoddescription%2F%3Fid%3D47%26preview%3D&pUp=1, and there was still no effect. Nothing changed at all. Does anyone know how to remedy this? Below are a couple of details that you might find useful.

MTUI works on Fallout New Vegas, oddly enough.

I use the Nexus Mod Manager instead of FOMM.

I tried installing both mods (at different times, never together) using NMM and subsequently attempting to do it normally, as in, what I think is extracting it into the Fallout 3 Data folder

My laptop runs on Windows 7, which I hear is not entirely compatible with FO3.

I have GFWL, I think. I tried using the GFWL Remover off the Nexus, but nothing happened to my knowledge.

In regards to Revelation, there is an update which is supposed to ease the load times with the new textures. When I try to activate it, it asks to overwrite files from the main one, and I always click yes when something like that happens on any mod.

My load order (I had to write it by hand, but if you require links to the mods, I'll get them):
