Interior/Exterior Behaviour

I've hit an odd bug recently I wonder if anyone else has found.
Some new creatures using the robobrain skeleton, anims and combat style are refusing to attack people indoors. Outdoors they move to the correct engagement range, fire their guns properly, and generally work fine.
Indoors they run straight at people and try to hug them (or push them into a wall) and refuse to fire at all. Occasionally they'll correctly fire at people, but generally if they're on a different floor, usually higher.

They're not trying to melee as they have no melee anims, a 255 unit melee range so they don't need to get that close, and "Inv" shows they have ranged weapons equipped anyway. So anyone have any ideas for what's wrong?

That's very odd. What are the packages? If it's a 'new creature' problem, I would ask Nilla.

I have never, ever seen this in my travels, Toaster. Wish I could help.

I have never seen this myself either. It almost seems as though it can't use it's guns while indoors (and thus charges instead?). That's the only thing that makes sense to me, as there is no AI behavior that I know of that would do this.

Is there a way to give him an extra gun or change his weapons out to see if he can still use those/it indoors to?

Well, the extent to which they're 'new' is questionable. Some minor skeleton and animation edits are all that's different (removing the arms from the robobrain skele, adding more projectile nodes, making a attackright anim into an attackspin).
The packages are the same ones used in RobCo, so they work fine indoors

Miaximus: The weird thing is it can and does use its guns indoors- it just doesn't click that it's at the correct distance to fire and keeps driving forward :/.
I'll see if adding extra guns to them fixes it, perhaps they'll decide they can't get in range with weapon 1, switch and reevaluate to the right range.

E: ...so, apparently it was down to the copy of the robobrain bodypart data I was using lacking something. Don't know what, but something.
