Thinking where I've been lately and I would like to see Fairfax Ruins. Although I use one of Yevic's house mods located there. Don't know how that'd go. I can turn it off and just use my portable shack instead :)
Greyditch would be another that'd be fun to explore. I like that big building next to the Metro (facing the metro it's on the right-hand side). It reminds me of a small City Hall, or a Museum.
I had thought of another but I've 'opened it' myself and am using it for a house or 'base camp,' so I won't say where that is :P

That's all I can think of for now. I haven't been following the threads so likely others have already said those.

Looking forward to Dupont Circle. It'd give me a reason not to avoid the place so much :hehe:

For myself, I'd say Bethesda Suburbs, Corvega Township, and Rockcreek Caverns Township are very high on the list -- but also there are a number of interesting looking buildings just on the outside edge of the DC Ruins -- ie the external worldspace around the ruins. Without having really played the game in a while, just off the top of my head I'm thinking of the buildings just to the east of Dukov's, and the buildings around the eastern side of the big overpass/bridge (like the building that leads to the supermutant occupied "skywalk" -- that building has an interior space now, but it is a tiny little fraction of this large building that looks like it could be interesting to explore).

This is one of my all time favourite mods. Of all time! Even my girlfriend loves it, and she doesn't play games! So of these boggled my mind with their quality so hard that I had to go into my own Project Brazil and delete half a dozen interior cells out of shame, haha. you managed to beat Bethesda at their own engine.

I'd love to add a few areas for use in your mod when I get the time. Your work has been a big inspiration. I added a couple images to your Nexus thread to show support.

It would make me very happy if a few of your areas could be adapted for use in my Mod, as it would speed up my progress tremendously. Wasteland Los Angles just isn't the same with empty buildings everywhere.

This mod will never leave my load order.

I was just playing last night, and have embarked on a plan to do a full walk-through of all the interior of the DC ruins. I was just in the Pennsylvania Avenue area last night, and noticed a lot of area that could be opened up. Though a lot of the buildings are pretty big, so it wouldn't be as easy as, say, occupying townhouses in Georgetown.

Here's a mark of your success, Chuck--my daughter, who sometimes looks over my shoulder as I'm playing the game, peeked in last night at the Pennsylvania Avenue scenes and asked, "Hey; can't you go into these buildings like you can in the other places?" I had to reply, "No, dear--the guy who did all that work hasn't gotten around to this area yet." So, even non-players are thinking of you, Chuck :tops:

You should fix the links in the OP, seems like you only copied the plain text out of your old thread instead of properly copying the links.

I'm working on the first installment of the DCInteriors_Wasteland Edition, it will have around 8 random buildings to explore.

the boarded up buildings in and around.

Jury street station, (three in the area.)
Minefield,
Springvail,
Tennpenny tower, (Three in the area, )

Once I finish these I'm going to work on Northwest Senica, I know someone else has already done a mod for the district but, I actually started DCInteriors here. My first failed attempts to mod revolved around Northwest Senica,

Alice's Diner,
Norton's Plumbing,
Robinsons Robots,

Were all first built here. I want to try my hand at filling it out properly. I'm feeling that my mod is finally coming full circle.

I'm going to take my time on this edition, I was really burned out at the end of Takoma Park, Working on the Wasteland edition is a way to have some fun, do some cells, without having a massive commitment hanging over my head.

I'll be filling in more and, more but, for now I'm not concerned with having the entire waste finished before my initial release.

As far as my progress goes, Two houses are 95% complete, Four others are 50% to 70% complete. I still have to come up with concepts for two shops. One in Jury street station and, the other near Lucky's Grocery, close to Tenpenny tower.

I hope this doesn't bother or, disappoint anyone but, The wasteland edition is going to remain modular until I get enough cells finished, to warrant a merge, into the Combo edition. I simply don't want to have to update the Combo every time I add five or, so new cells. I'll never update for just one new interior, you can expect every new update, (non bug fix update,) to contain anywhere from 5 to 10 new buildings to explore.

Unfortunately, not yet. I however have made leaps and bound with my efforts in learning how to work with .nif's. I spent a good month learning Blender and, Nifscope. :brokencomputer: I'm gearing up to start a new project in FNV but, in the mean time I'm getting close to releasing the first installment of "DCInteriors_ Wasteland Edition".

The first installment will have around 8 to 12 new buildings scattered throughout the wasteland, in areas like

Springvail,
Minefield,
Jury street station,
the area around Tenpenny tower, ( I think it's called Marigold station.),
Northwest Senica,

Don't worry, when I move into an area I do all buildings that I know don't conflict with other mods, well accept for Northwest Senica. I'm doing that one for personal reasons, It is where DCInteriors acctualy started but, was never released. I feel the mod is coming full circle :celebration: and, have a need to complete this district for myself.

I was feeling a little burned out when it came to coming up with concepts for entire district, so, I simply started doing the random buildings out in the wasteland.

I've got some (what I hope are fun" things coming in this update. Arkansas's, house in "Minefield", some cool Raider shacks, a VD clinic and, much much more.

I of course don't want to tell you everything.

I know its pervy. But even back in the old days. A "House of ill repute" was pretty common for the western type areas. In other words a [censored] house lol

Make it like a saloon western style maybe. Even though the workers wouldn't necessarily have to all walk around naked. The can be wearing sixy sleepwear. Which....incidentally most people will already have a naughty version of anyway. Thus just use vanilla outfits. ^_^

Just thinking of the FO world. I had so many ideas in the past several months. I played through 1,2, and tactics during my offline time. Drove me nuts over how much I wanted to mod myself....alas I truly svckat making stuff, but I have the idea's. Irony >_<

Your not being pervy, at least in my book. I've already added several "Cat Houses", "Brothels". In my mind the concept of prostitution is an important part of Fallout. It is the oldest profession after all.

If you have ideas that you think are good, PM them to me and, If I like them I'll try to make them happen and, credit you as a collaborator.

Its starting to thunder and lightning and such...otherwise I'd hang around banging out ideas. I'll try to think of stuff for tomorrow.

Later =)

Oh, I'll just say one last thing. referring to the dark side of the human condition is one thing but, if you wanted to do something like "Animated Prostitution" is another. Were all advlts here, If I want to look at porm well thats my business but, there is no need to subject others to our own deviance.

How about a farm? small field with crops. Setup a few tower like Ripple does for the guards to perch atop in Canterbury Commons mod. Except make the things with either sand bags around the guard so the jackasses dont jump down getting themselves killed lol

Or stairs so they can hike back up =)

I can think of more but If you really want me to I suppose I could PM my ideas. Thought others may like to see what I'm writing.

Big thumbs up for for DC Interiors... I finally made it to Tacoma Park this week.

Unfortunately, one of the smaller buildings on the right side (the USO Club) is just a bit too cramped to support the super mutants and centaurs. They have a lot of trouble getting down the ramps into the lower floors. (Not sure whether MMM w/ increased spawns is the real culprit though.) It was just really noticeable, combined with being one of the very first indoor locations that I went into.

Cornocopia was just mean with the SMs inside (but made worse via MMM).

There's a typo in Dine and Dash - "Open Elevator to DIne and Dash 3nd Fl." And the other end of that elevator ride was nasty due to close proximity and the increased deadliness of a grenade mod that I use. Well, plus the additional spawns by MMM.

Loved the funeral home and the arcade (some great stage setting). The bookstore was good, but all the covers for the books were a bit too new. The garage in the car dealer was a nice touch as well. The Western Union was a bit perplexing, lots of computer terminals that ended up not doing anything and lots of open safes with nothing in them.
