Internal Folk "Dropped Jaws"

Post » Sat Feb 19, 2011 4:46 am

Just wanted to pass this along. Pete has been in london the past few days showing a demo of Skyrim to internal folk and he just updated his twitter with the following..."Wasn't for media. Internal folks, our PR firm, some distributors and retail folks. They pretty much dropped jaws"

I can't wait to drop my jaw! When can we? Hopefully soon...

As much as this makes me really happy and I'm sure I too will drop my jaw upon seeing footage, it's hard for me to place stock on their PR lead saying that other PR people dropped their jaws when seeing a game lol. Because it could be, you know... PR.

I think it's pretty cool that we can keep up with development via options such as twitter. Back in the days of nes and snes it was near impossible to get in contact with anyone close to development.

I don't know. Apparently, they didn't extend their mandibles to a breakthrough, previously unknown aperture.

Could be true.

Pete Hines responded to me when I asked about a Limited edition ^.^

I also asked when new screenshots would be released or when a gameplay video would be released. You can't ask redundant questions or else he won't answer you

My jaw has been bolted shut. It will not drop until after surgery to remove the bolt.

Hot damn, that's pretty fast, although somewhat expected on such a short release time.

A month from now. So probably the beginning of march, most likely PAX east like we are all expecting.

Back in the days of NES most of the games were in no way deep enough to build this big of excitement levels lol.

Well he did say it should be a "good month". That means february. If he meant march he would have said "next month".

That might be looking too much into it...I would just say either the end of this month or next month.

Yea true. Hopefully by pax east in mid march like you referred to. Only thing that might be a catch is that his response was to this question..." When will the next batch of screenshots or a gameplay video be released for Skyrim? Or is there a website with any new screens?"

So he could of been referring to screens and not actual gameplay...
