Pretty much the same as here except with some differences:

1) I'm not as open to talk about how I feel.

2) I'm known as the go-to guy for learning new things.

3) I don't talk to people about videogames on the same level as on here because there are few people I know that think about gaming as a lot of us do.

I'm funnier, more sociable, and more nosy on the Internet. Hey, I know a guy who said the first duty in life is to assume a pose*, and I think he's right.

*Get your mind out of the damn gutter.

Yeah. Luckily, I think it's rubbing off when I'm outside of the Internet, so I'm becoming less inhibited and I'm more myself. It makes me rather happy.

I'd probably be calling you all a bunch of pinko commies without them.

Are we going to play "If it weren't for the forum rules..." now? Because I'm pretty sure it's against the forum rules.

Good idea for a topic OP :goodjob:

I'd say I'm actually more of myself here than I am in real life. Online, I can take all the time I want to type out a message or a post, so I have plenty of time to say what I want to say. In real life, I don't have that luxury. The person I act like online is the person I am in real life, except in real life it's much harder to be that person. Whereas online I can have an intelligent conversation with people and convey my point clearly, in real life I have somewhat of a stuttering problem and am terrible at conveying what I'm trying to say. Don't get me wrong, I usually can, but it comes out sounding much less intelligent than I would make it sound online. Not because I have to be online to "sound" intelligent, but because I can take all the time in the world to do so. I usually have to be pretty comfortable with someone before I can act like I do online with them in real life, but I don't think anyone in real life has seen me act like who I am online. I'd be delighted if they could though.

That's not to say, if any of you met me, all you'd see is a stuttering mess that can't put a sentence together, because I'm not, it's just that I'd seem a fair amount less like the person I am online. You wouldn't be like "Who is this man and what has he done with Antibody," but more like "Why do you keep stuttering!?"

Also there was a time where I had great fun of people thinking me as a woman , twas great fun to mess with emotions even cruel. Sure that is an example that doesn't have that great effect unless I was dating one of you guys and betraying your trust to a major level. I guess the boat I'm in it's ok, nobody got hurt just confused and there was great lulz and lol.

I'm gonna join in with the 'funnier in real life' group too :P I'm fairly expressive in RL which you can't really be over the net. Like Diablo mentioned earlier I'm not paticularly geeky normally. I have 1 friend, out of my main friendship circle, who I have nerd offs with but in my main friendship circle I'm the only one who games and does internet [censored] like read webcomics and visit forums so I don't mention it much.

I'm more talkative in real life as well. But I guess how talkative I can be here is regulated by the rules and stuff.

I guess I'm 70% RL me and 30% not RL me. The basic personality is the same but sometimes I struggle to get the real me across on the keyboard.

Eh, there's quite a few cases of indefinable gender on these boards. I've also found that my guesses on the internet are wrong for the majority of the time, so I won't bother.

When some one called me a "she" once I started going

I'M A GUY!
I'M A GUY!
I'M A GUY!

and resolved to post in a more masculine manner from thereon in.

Yup.
Just checked, and I'm pretty sure it's me on these forums.
(unless I'm drunk posting)

And.... I have exactly as many friends here on the forums as I do in real life.

Completely different, here I am more talkative, and thanks to people not knowing who I am have no self esttem/confidence issues when talking with people. I also dont talk about certain issues here I would irl because of rules. So yeah im quite different when on the internet.

More or less I'm pretty much the same person in real life. Funny, sociable, love to have a good time, and engage in meaningful conversation over a broad selection of topics.

Oh, I will freely admit that I am much more outgoing on the internet than I am in person.
Oddly, I tend to act on these forums in the same manner as I do with close friends. Freud would probably have a field day with that one.
...
I hate Freud. >.>
I treat the internet in much the same manner as I treat theatre: I am in essence assuming a role, and playing to a crowd.

Also, alas- I am not really a freaky pie monster.
I know, I know, it is very sad. ;3;

I really do have blue hair, though.
And I should hope that it's obvious I'm female when seen in person, although you never know. Someone did call me 'sir' once. Though I think he may have been joking.

I'm a lot more insane in real life, the people around me just don't know it yet.

Actually I don't speak much to people except my friends. I'm definitely more... dirty IRL.

Back and forth. I'm wilder outside with my temperament and group of friends. As long as your postin' I'm answerin' as I say. IRL though I don't always talk to people, even if they something I wish to disagree with or concur... I just prefer the intimacy of a real life friendship, and yet crave an almost anonymous relationship. Unlike some people I would probably never give any of you my exact address, but some could probably trace me or something... lol
