Internet petition for Morrowind 10th anniversary edition

Post » Sun Dec 04, 2011 5:11 pm

I was reading some gaming news the other day and I read about the upcoming HaloH combat evolved anniversary edition that is in the works. This got me thinking and I decided that we, the gamers who enjoy the elder scrolls, should start a petition for a morrowind anniversary editionN as morrowind will have been out 10 years this coming summer.

Updated HD graphics, voice actors replacing the text, quest markers and fast travel, these are soming things that should be included in the anniversary edition, but nothing that changes the core gameplay mechanics of morrowind.

I would gladly pay 40-50 dollars for something like this. So please, join me, post your comments in this thread and add your digital signature to this petition asking beythesda to create a anniversary ediytion of morrowind. Let's get enough signatures so that there is no doubt that it would be a good business move for them.

Hmm I'm not sure of a remake. Eventhough Oblivion is hugely discounted on Steam, I don't feel like buying it. It's old news.

Weren't all the past anniversary editions free downloads? I would like to see that happen again, its not like the game is going to sell any more copies anyway, this way more people can get access to it and enjoy it.

but yes I would love an aniversary edition of morrowind but I doubt they would make it as they still haven't done every province yet (except for arena).

No just no that would actually go against everything Morrowind is. Text dialogue was fine, quest markers are not needed and fast travel was done better in Morrowind than in subsequent titles.

And why is this in the Skyrim forums?

what would be even cooler is having a mw and ob expansion that integrated into skyrim. Like how they did the fallout 3 expansions. Would be cool to go back to those areas in the present skyrim time and see simaler landscapes and towns from the old games with new questlines. They could do so much with ideas from those games. Could go to cyrodil and find out Dagon is up to the same old [censored] again and you could raise dragon eggs to be good guys to aid you in the fight. Would be something of epic proportions. Or like how they did the bloodmoon expansion with werewolves or vampires actually playing a big part in the stoyline while going back to mw. The possiblities could be limitless with all the history and lore the game has.
