my internet is slow. is the game in the disk or download

when i get the game (im going to ordered a physical copy or the collection edition) do i have to download it or is the game in the disk because my internet svcks ass (like 3 mb/s) and i doint what to downloaded a big ass game and waste time i what to play it when i get it

you can install from the disk, but, you can bet, if it is steam connected, it's going to want to update before it will let ya play. :)

All of Beth's other games (and the vast majority of "AAA" games) have come out on disc, so I don't see that changing.

On the other hand, I'll bet there's still large patches to download, so even getting the disc isn't going to get rid of all the DL'ing.

That's how they've worked in the past. You can install the game from the disc, but it still needs to be registered into Steam as part of your library.

3mb/s? I have never in my life downloaded anything faster than 1mb/s, so count yourself lucky... Somewhat.

I hope they let us preload.
