For the Pc version will it require internet at all times to play or just to activate it and does the disc have to be inserted into the machine at all times to play (im getting physical copy)

There is an offline mode, I've heard. And yes, punctuation won't bite you.

Isn't Steam required in order to run this game? It has an offline mode so I don't think you need to be connected to the internet in order to play.

You'll be able to use Offline mode after doing all the initial updates (this was confirmed by Bethesda as well.)

You won't ever need the disc after the install, in fact you probably won't even need it for that if you have a fast internet connection (it can be activated in your Steam client with only the DVD key.)

You need an online verification once you install the game, after that youre free to play offline. Thats what I understood anyway.

This.

Steam only requires you to be connected in order to install and update the game (and get DLC). But it still installs the files directly to your hard drive, and you can play offline.

Believe you have to be online to activate, and I think offline mode requires you to go online once every 30 days or something.
