It is disappointing to see that the great franchise Fallout may not be able to continue due to corporate politics. I enjoyed Fallout 2 the most out of the series, and it ranks as top game in my list including names like (starcraft, doom). I hope to see Bethesda ease off, and gamesas allowed to continue development. IPLY is currently at 0.06 from its 52wk high of 0.20. What do you guys see for IPLYs future, and also what do you think they could do to make it even further?

Wow... I hope BethSoft doesn't stop the development of Fallout Online... I have been looking forward to it for a looong time.

As for the future... I hoping for a sequel to Sacrifice, among other great games War... War Never Changes...

It pisses me off with all this buying and selling of game licenses in general.

IMO you shouldn't be able to just buy other people's games and then screw over the original creators when you feel like it.

The original creator should always have some creative control over the future of the series they started.

Does gamesas actually need to have the Fallout name to create an awesome MMO? I doubt it.

Even though it would be nice for 'em to have the rights, I don't believe it's essential.

They didn't need the wasteland name, they sure don't need the fallout name...although it would help for initial sales.

But having the Fallout name would sure as hell get it more publicity, what with Fallout 3 (and DLC) being popular, many might walk into a games shop, pass the PC aisle and see "Fallout Online" and then be enticed into looking up information on the game etc. War... War Never Changes...

Good points, this could make an interesting investment. Lets say IPLY gets the IP lost for the MMO. They could still continue maybe under a different name? I bet stock will move lower which could lead to being able to buy more at a cheaper price. I'd be interested to know when IPLY's next game is to come out.

if they do decide to continue under a different name i hope they do it as a sp game with coop mode as initially planned(vb). So youre telling me FO3 is better than the first two? Okay i respect your opinion. Can we step outside for a sec?
