gamesas what are you waiting for answer some questions on the forums. like

What exactly is v13? :geek:
How will your mmo be done? (time, armour, location, customization, consoles?, weapons, combat system, guilds, factions, vehicles, monsters, graphics, system requirements, in game houses, crafting, experience gains, pets, non combat pets, modding, user interface, perspective (1st person, isometric, over the shoulder), game area (how big will the location be), has it been started yet, transportation, races, classes, setting, age of characters, mutated dike cheneys, and supreme overlord chuck norris?

We or at least I need to know. I check this forums every 3 hours from my laptop or blackberry. Please for the love of alll that is good release some information.

Seriously release some information keep us entertained. I dont care if you just lie to us, just tell us that somethings going to happen.

I played wow untill recently i have played the game for 3 years and 9 months, its too boring now every time they add expansions everything outdated and doing old content is useless its annoying to work hard and then have to start all over. Break the cycle gamesas where waiting.

:o At the very least lets hear your speculations what you plan on doing, even if it doesnt actually make it to the game we or I would like to hear what might happen.

 AT the very least create a project v13 forum. Image

In due time young padawan.

From the sounds of it there's a skeleton crew at gamesas just beginning to flesh out a concept for their mmo. If you want speculation from a designer as to what their game will be like I can probably guess: "Best game ever!"

We've got a few years here before this game drops, and I'm sure nothing is set in stone yet. No point in putting out info that is subject to frequently change. Once the project is announced and official we'll get some info.

I dread the thought of taking just a wonderful francise as Fallout into the MMO scene... Especially when it has become saturated with WoW and WoW cloned games.

Fallout online, if anything, thought look to a game like Ultima Online and see the reasons why that game has proved successful and build on those foundations. I think most people will agree that todays MMO's tend to be overly grindy, amusemant park rinds where you are filtered through experiences and just get in line for the next.

Preserve the RPG system, encourage creations and community of players in game to make the online experience theirs and not some kind of "expansion" that are just more quest grinding and spoon fed events. Make it free form and up to player to decide how they evolve their character. Get it?

Exactly what he said about MMOs. stop grinding it and giving us a set path. There is no in depth character creating anymore. Play a dark elf! Add points to dexterity and wisdom! Automatically get skills, every character looks plays and feels the same. Don't get me wrong, each person has a different skill level when playing that character but there is no real diversity. If leveling didn't take quite as long, and you could play one type of character a few different ways, then that would give a player a reason to remake his guy, fix his mistakes, find the perfect play style for his liking... and other dark elves he came up across wouldn't be the exact same. Just my two cents.

They're probably waiting with the official announcement for the release of Fallout 3. The Vault - Fallout Wiki * Fallout Online * Fallout IRC Channel * Fallout: New Vegas

Interesting...

A few things.
In full agreement with Toaster...
Announcing anything right now would be haphazard at best, plain stupid at worst.
This early in the development changes there are very few concrete things so I think the devs are playing it safe (Which is the smart and correct thing to do) And not saying anything cause it might change.

Well thats the anolytical part of me speaking. Now for the gamer part...
Just ADMIT its a Fallout MMO. Thats it, no more details than that. Just give us that little one, that little light at the end of the tunnel.

However, I do agree with Ausir..
They are probably waiting till after the release of Fallout 3 to announce anything, which is understandable for oh so many fun reasons.

They have until 2012 to make this thing. It's 2008. They have a skeleton crew and their website only fully came back a few months ago. There are no details.

There's Mutants! Some dirt! Radiation!

20 caps to anyone who gets that^
