Just read through this again and I think it's awesome.

It's even more interesting when you consider what has happened in Vvardenfell.

Does anyone remember when it originally debuted? Was it a promo for Morrowind?

It is interesting because it was actually written by Bethesda, as opposed to being a fan fic.

It's been around for quite awhile, but I don't recall anyone claiming authorship. Most likely it was pre-release "concept" as Alvur refers to Netch as, "Skylamps... big gas bags with spears for feet.

I still enjoy going back and looking at all the concept art.

The description on the main Morrowind page states that it was written by Bethesda employees.

It's too bad that they didn't write one for Oblivion or Skyrim.
