I'm level 66 Ninja VATS and decided I'm already overpowered now even on Survival... but thanks to this thread I am rerolling and going to make enemies bow down when I come to their town. LOL

Do you get XP reward for intimidating someone?

I wish you got XP for intimidating but no XP if you kill them after intimidation, it would make passifism viable.

It sounds like fun but would it be better if it was automatic? I tried the animal friend perk and couldn't be bothered aiming and hitting the use key, and it had an annoying prompt (on PS4) so I didn't bother with it.

Sometimes you don't want to use it though. So it is better that you have to manually trigger it.

I personally enjoy hearing all the things my character says while using it:

"Good dog! Gooood dog. Calm down."

"Hey! Chill out, you freak!"

"There's a good ... giant ... mosquito-thing."

"Don't do anything stupid!"

"Human is friend! No shoot!" (To Super Mutants )

And many, many more. There are usually several variants unique to different enemy types.

This is the best perk! Waste land whisperer dose the same thing with creatures, Death claw fights anyone? I never took the last rank on these perks though I didn't like having to command them.

I have named all bloatflies Buzz-Buzz based on what you say to them when trying to intimidate.

I was somewhat interested in this perk, but now I really want it.
