Today I was thinking about what kinds of dungeons will await us.
As far as I know these are the confirmed ones:
1 - Cave (the typical cave-dungeon. Dark, lots of stone, dirt, skeletons and bandits)
2 - Dwemer ruin (Ancient ruins of the long gone dwemer race. Advanced, strange technology, "robot-like"-enemies and a few ghosts)
3 - Nordic barrow (Old nordic graves as seen on http://www.uesp.net/wiki/File:SR-concept-NordicBarrowBruin.jpg and http://www.uesp.net/wiki/File:SR-concept-NordicBarrowInteriorRuins.jpg concept arts. Mostly inhabited by ghosts and skeletons, I think)
Possible, but not confirmed:
4 - Temple (Old ruins of the nord as seen in http://www.uesp.net/wiki/File:SR-concept-NordicTempleRuins.jpg concept art)
5 - Glacier (I imagine the complete opposite to the caves. Icy, illuminated at day, twighlight at night, because of the light that shimmers throught the ice. Inhabited by ice wraiths or trolls. Kind of like supermans http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_V7oom18FXF4/TLmIfxRM7YI/AAAAAAAABrk/aK9U3K3hb1o/s1600/einsamkeit.jpg )
6 - Water dungeon (Maybe a kind of flooded cave dungeon with lots of water in it and secret under-water chambers to discover. Maybe only manageable with special items that allow under-water breathing. To be honest, I don't think this will be part of the game! )
7 - Crevice (Some kind of open-air dungeon. You have one entry, step down into the crevice and can explore all the small chasms and gaps of the mountain. Maybe inhabited by elementals, skeletons or bandits.)
What do you think? What will await us in Skyrim?
