Intoxication screen effects for alcohol, and hallucination e

And possibly some kind of visual edge on your character other than just attribute or skill changing, such as walking animations and facial expressions, etc.

Maybe something for Skooma and/or Moon Sugar as well? I'm not sure if it was ever specified if they had hallucinative effects or not..

This is the best (and possibly longest) thread title I've yet seen. And I voted yes.

Woo, yes! Tunnel vision, stumbling, and blurry brownouts, here we come.

What better way to celebrate Skyrim than downing flagons of mead?

You could make your character go through an acid trip by getting hopped up on skooma.

Best idea ever!!! Not that I've ever ingested shrooms before, because I most certainly have not, so don't nobody say I do, because I don't. But yes, I 101% agree. Although I think this would be better for a mod only because the modders could put lots of more work and creativity into it. This is also a mod idea that I'm wanting to make for TESIII Morrowind, land of the shrooms. It'll pretty much be scripted to teleport you to different interior custom cells to represent the hallucinogenic affects, depending on which mushrooms you eat.

Skooma, from the effects it has, sounds like either cocaine or methamphetamine. Definitely not an entheogen. Although if it has methyl properties, it can possibly fall under the esctasy or 2C-B category. Or the whole 2C-family even.

What Nords need to have is something similar to the holy ayahausca that the ancient incas used to brew up.

Good idea as long as it only affects the screen while in first-person.

I say "Yay" not "Nay"! I've enjoyed these effects in other games they have been in, even though there only has been a few. It would certainly be an amazing addition to Skyrim and only requires visual morphing of the viewport.

Good idea as long as it only affects the screen while in first-person.

It would need to be in third person as well or else it wouldn't be a negative effect because then you could just switch to third person and fight that way.

Yes yes yes. Skooma needs to come back in a big way in this game. The people of Skyrim are fighting each other, dragons are coming. It's the end of the world, everyone do Skooma!

I've never had a character who was a drunk or skooma addict. I personally am against drugs... However... This would be amazing! I vote Yay!

And perhaps third person animations as well. Would be awesome to see your character stumbling around drunk. :celebration:

ESRB is not going to like this, but I say "Yay, verily!"

And yesh, third person view should be clear, but your controls should be wonky and your char should be stumbling around. I LOVED the way it was done in GTA IV. For those who haven't played, google-up some videos on that, lol.

Meh, I say yes, It adds a lot of fun I suspect! But I am yet to see a game that does this in such a crazy way as explained in the Title. But really the thing here is that drugs is a total taboo across various states so There's no way something like that is going to be in game.

It's sad that drugs are taboo except for the ones they sell us. Sugar, Caffeine, Alcohol.

Well if the drugs were taboo they would not be able to sell them legally, we'd illegalize them, just like the vast majority of taboo drugs.

Also Sugar is an essential drug, you'd die without it (Hypoglycemia). it is just simply we over consume it on the most part today.

I think it would be cool to have as an rp mechanic, could make a thief that gets strung out after every job, or a warrior who likes to take a load off after a hard day of plunderin'. AS for modders adding it, I would rather bethesda add somthing like that, as it seems it would be easy enough to add in the game, and that way I would be able to get it as well(too poor to afford getting a comp to run good games*sigh*...)
