Introduce Yourself!

Hello folks. My name is Richard and I'm 18 years old, I live in Northern Ireland. I've been playing Fallout 3 on my friend's Xbox 360 for some months now, he got it when it first came out. My favourite weapon is the Ol' Painless, my favourite armour is the Brotherhood Outcast Power Armour, also the Grifter's Fit...it's pretty nifty. Small Guns user, explosives too...I love running away and dropping mines or running around in a circle hitting with a melee weapon...these are the ways to deal with tough enemies!

Anyway...hail thee worthy forum members.

Hey!

I'm Laurens and I'm from Belgium. Well I'm 16 years old and kind of obsessed by fallout and any sortlike games. Since it's my 5th playtrough or so, i'm started to get bored so i searched wiki's and forum's for some new adventures to start :P and i landed in here. And I'm pretty much a super-evil character, just can't stand those nice little necks without a necklace (read: slave collar)

so if you've any questions, shoot :P

My name is Ivan. I live in Ohio and I am a 3d artist. I am looking for a position as an artist (Bethesda and Obsidian are you listening?), but I am really here to talk about Fallout. Most of all, I have been really impressed by the comments that have been floating in here and I want to be a part of the discussion.

I am the CrybKeeper, a music publicist in Ohio and surrounding states, USA. Played Morrowind first and have since tackled Oblivion, both PC versions with all the extras.
Have downloaded Arena and Daggerfall, but still haven't had a chance to try them in DosBox, but I will eventually.

Hobbies:

Clubs, bars, dives, concert halls; if it is the weekend, I can be found at those :)
Spending too much time on PC games and digital music. LastFM is a constant addiction, along with sprinkled visits to Pandora and Jango, among so many other music communities.
Graphic art is a fun side hobby, but takes lots of time and since our bands have gotten so busy, all I really have time for, is the games and the music. :P
I am writing things all the time-something of a hobby that has become an integral part of my music publicity gig, so that was a useful hobby, at least.

Okay, enough of that.

Hello everyone and happy foruming!

hi, i'm new to rpg's and new to the forum. im a FPS player at heart but i bought Fallout 3 and found it so much more satisfying than normal shooters so i though i would give some rpg type games a go. i asked about for suggestions (for xbox 360) on another forum and Oblivion and Mass Effect seemed to be the top choices (on xbox 360 not PC, for PC i got different suggestions) of the people who replied so i bought them and tried both. i was expecting to like Mass Effect more because of my shooter backround but to my suprise Oblivion has svcked me in and i'm hooked. well enough waffle, hi all looks like i'm gonna be around for a while considering the sheer size of Oblivion. btw Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to everybody all the way from glasgow in Scotland.

Hi, I'm a US citizen, and I mostly joined up because I've played TES on-and-off for several years, and whenever I feel depressed playing video games alleviates it. So thanks Bethesda for being my placebo. ;D

Merry Christmas.

Hello,

I've been active mainly in the Morrowind forums, but after checking the threads here, I thought it best to formally introduce myself so that I may participate (there have been some good ones ^_^ ).

I've been playing PC Morrowind on and off since it came out, as well as Oblivion. I hope to get Fallout 3 soon, as I've heard only good things about it.

Otherwise, I just graduated from college this past May and have been job-hunting since. I also write poetry (not contemporary) and have been submitting my work to various publications and contests since August. So far, 2 journals have accepted my stuff :D

Oh.. Merry Christmas :)

Hi, my name is Webchameleon.

Okay, it's not, but what do you want to know my name for, anyway? You cruising for dudes, or something?

Let's start over: I'm Webchameleon. I'm 21, male, and just qualified for my AA. I should get it in the mail in 10 years. I enjoy sleeping, surfing the web for shame, and modeling. W/ 3ds MAX. Because I like thinking up pie-in-the-sky concepts that are far too ambitious for me to complete on my own. I haven't gotten far yet, but I try anyway.

I'm actually not a big fan of the Elder Scrolls series, or any of these hack-N-slash RPGs (Morrowind was okay). The reason I don't like them is because they're boring. The graphics are impressive, but the voice talent can't match. They have about 4 voice actors and they all svck. I also don't like running up against enemies and left-clicking until they die. Where's the strategy? I don't like running through interchangeable dungeons. Where are the puzzles? A potato could master this game. But there's so much potential!

I want to make a mod that takes care of all that. One w/ complex puzzles, real bosses (The Gatekeeper in Shivering Isles qualifies, but I want to make it more complicated), and a serious difficulty curve. Not more difficult because the monsters have more health and strength, or because the dungeons are longer, but because you need strategy to kill the monsters and to solve puzzles to complete the dungeons. I want to make a smart game, for smart players. This series wasn't made for a smart enough crowd, in my opinion. That's not to say smart enough people don't play it. I do, after all.

I may offer/request (I might need help) commissions in the coming weeks/months, so keep an eye on me.

Thanks to Throttlekitty for answering an optimization question.

Hi everyone :)

The name's Trannigan, a character name from a story I tried to write for fun a little before i first played Morrowind but have since game up trying as I keep losing interest lol, now i just use the name when playin fantasy RPG's.

I am a fan of both Morrowind and Oblivion, but never played the first 2 games because my computer is a piece of junk =/

I played Morrowind from '05 to 07 and Oblivion since it first came out and love both games tremendously.

And im glad to be a part of the community now. ^_^

Hey y'all, I'm new here and just recently got a Playstation 3 along with Fallout 3 and I'm in love with the game. I've been playing various RPG's for a long time now and Fallout 3 is already up there with my top favorites and I'm barely into the game yet. I accidentally deleted my first character and had to restart but it wasn't a problem.

A little about me for anyone that cares, I'm in the US Army, I love video games, lifting weights at the gym, and basically love to relax whenever I can. Thats all, and I'm looking forward to these forums.

Guess I skiped this thread.... :(

Anyway, names Josh. :3
I had Morrowind on the Xbox for 2 years. and played it lovingly.
Now I have been afforded the opurtunity to play it on PC, and the mod's are just fantastic.

I hope to, once I have finished modding my install, to get more aquainted with the CS, as I loved making modules on NWN and just love toolsets/construction sets in general.

So keep you fingers crossed for some kewl content from me sometime in the future!
