Some of you may already know about it, because we have talked about it in the thread about the Newbie-Friendly Weekend, but I think it's due time for a more formal presentation.

*** About the server ***

Newbie Training Grounds is a newbie-friendly server. While it's impossible to avoid kill farmers to enter the server, the server is unranked, so kill farmers come less often to the server, and stay for a shorter time. To encourage interaction between players, problem solving and match preparation, time in the lobby has been extended. Server is in EU.

Experienced players are welcome as long as you have a positive attitude and don't spoil the fun of unexperienced players.

The main server administrator is Orlany.

*** TS server ***

I have created a channel in my TS server to be used by players in the Newbie Training Grounds:

5.135.187.123:9007

Everybody is welcome, but please don't use other channels, as they are intended for other uses.

*** Events ***

We have in mind several practice sessions and master classes to take place in the server, mostly for internal use by me, Orlany, Shadowshoot and probably RouWer, but we are going to use this thread to announce the sessions and anybody wanting to join us is welcome. Map and mode rotation and server configuration will be adjusted for the sessions.

If you are a newbie or an experienced player wanting to help newbies learn the game, add the server to your favourites!
