Dave, the Legendary Nightkin is the size of the largest Deathclaw, bright red and quite articulate. Carries a unique sledgehammer called Baby Baby Baby, so big that it can only be wielded whilst wearing power armour and due to a programming error, plays the intro to the Supreme's "Baby Love" rather than the intended [censored] on Feel the Noize intro when drawn.

Not immediately aggressive when found paddling in the radioactive pool at Mt Range State Park, it's best avoided by low level players as it can only be killed with an anti-material rifle and guns +70. Attacks result in escalating levels of annoyance; "damn flies" (pistols, varmit rifles), "not now I'm having a bath" (Sniper rifles, trail carbines, grenades etc), "that was a bit unnecessary" (missiles, mini-nukes etc) and finally "don't make me come over there" (frontal assault with anti-material rifle). Once the last is uttered the fight starts.

If the player allows Dave to reach them they will be killed by single blow from the sledge, fortunately poor peripheral vision mean that moving a little to the left or right is enough to completely escape the attack and Dave saying "hey come back, I just want to be friends."

The easiest way to kill him is with a single shot to the back of the head as he returns to the pool. Notable loot include the sledge, unique item "Dave's Teddy" and a large number of stimpaks, stealthboys and Meeting People magazines.

His death results in a massive loss of karma because you really shouldn't go round killing things just because they have nice stuff.
