Invalid account info fix : Crysis

damn i cannot change my nickname ......i've try whit another account and work but on this ( the real account i wanted to repair) not work .......continue telling me an error occurred
in that account i've username like my mail is that why not work ? plz gimme a response im impatient to use LE bonus

Hi,

I've also had a problem with redeem my limited edition code, because I couldn't sign into gamesas website. Now it is work and I entered my limited edition code last night. Then I launched my Crysis 2 game and I logged in and I saw my upgrades thanks to my limited edition type of the game. I gat a promotion from my 9 rank to 10. I got the new version of Scar and a hologram to it. BUT!

BUT when I entered the session, my stats changed to 9 rank without new scar and hologram! When I left the session, my rank was 9 ! And I had blocked hologram and new Scar.

I turned off the game and launched it once again.And what has happened? EVERYTHING THE SAME! I got a message that I have unlocked new content of limited edition and bla bla bla etc...

Please help, because I can say, that I cannot play with limited edition content.

I have bought yesterday key Crysis 2, have entered, played, all was normal, today to me writes that the key is invalid! Whether there can be it from for that that I have deleted EA Download Manager? And now in it I can not enter a key

Your problem is not related to the account info fix thats addressed in this thread, tho. I guess you bought it from the EA store, so the best is you contact the EA support as they are the ones that will be able to help ya out with your problem.

It is prolly cause for this account of yours the username is the same as the email adress you used to register. Another user has mentioned this problem already, so its most likely that its going to be fixed in one of the next invalid account info fix iterations.

This is a know problem alot of people, me uncluded, suffer from but the wrong thread to address it, tho.

This thread would be the right one: http://www.gamesas.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=40&t=10957 as the bug is part of the LE promo code not working issues and not an invalid account info issue.

To save ya time reading it, no news or update on this bug or a timeframe for a possible fix yet. Neither is there a known workaround for the problem. But good news once you hit level 10 without the extra XP from the LE promo your items will be properly unlocked again, just not those that are part of the LE promo. So the scar camo and the dogtag as well as the hologram for free. If you want the hologram you will be able to buy it with a scar weapon upgrade, if you don't wanna wait till the promo code issue is fixed. For the scar camo and dogtag frame you will just have to wait till its been fixed.

If i want to save the username it says pls type password. If i do that it says ivalid password... WTF!?!?!? Still can′t login since game release :-(

Try using a different username. Maybe the username you wanted to use is already in use.

Tried a different one but same failure message appears... invalid password given!! What is wrong with that game?

Ive tried changing my nickname to what i originally wanted, as gamesas for some reason set my email as my username instead.
It says it contains invalid characters, so i tried different random words, still no luck. i even tried "boo"
please advise cry-staff ??? :s

I have a bonus limited edition subscription, I can not enter in chrome, opera, mazila, IE (all tried, but on the other PC have not tried it) when Crysis 2 shake enter the code, wrote:
You need to log in to view this page.

Please use the "Sign In" button on the top right corner to log in.
But I already Sign In!

I'd like to report a problem.
When I changed my username, the system seems to add a new account using the same email address.

Proof:

and the account before nickname change: http://www.gamesas.com/forums/memberlist.php?mode=viewprofile&u=686922

See the different numbers in the end of that link? I'm guessing that's why people can't change their nicknames back to their original nickname coz that happened to me as well.

And I logged into gamesas.com either using my current nickname or email address, both directs me to the current nickname account. And I cannot edit anything such as posts and information on the 68922 account. Please look into this.

And please, I only want one account...so can u perhaps delete the 686922 account or something. And I'm a limited edition player, so don't omit those contents by accident please

This fix worked for me. I didn't even have to change it, I just left it as is, entered the password and saved changes. Logged into multiplayer without any issues whatsoever. Thanks for the fix!

Now, did you ever had a Gamespy account? Ever played muliplayer on Crysis 1 or Warhead?

Tis fix doesn't work at all. If I change username => "contains invalid characters" (no matter what username I type) or "error occurred" (if I choose same) and if I change password => "invalid password" or "error occurred".

This really svcks. My LE bundle is been registered to my gamesas account with success but the accounts aren't linked so I don't have the LE stuff in-game.
Both accounts have same password and username. I used the same info to play Crysis 1 and Wars. So I guess you guys will have to link gamesas account to the accounts from Crysis 1/Wars.

If this would get solved it really would help out a lot of people.

Works but...

Reset lvl to 5
But my lvl 32 weapons n load out is still available to use, even though it's grayed out and locked. I still can use my scarab at lvl 10..
No mystery dog tags. Not a single one unlocked even ranking up to 14 now...
Lost friends list and stats.

Here's a strange one, I can still log in with my original username ( before the nickname change) with everything still there... But this account dosnt exist in gamesas.com....

But.... In my new username account, it remembers my original accounts set ups'. Does that make sense?

It's rather messed up here..

Hey guy′s

first of all thank you for fixing the multiplayer issue, but since you released the patch 1.2 it seems, that I have no gamesas.com account anymore (so I was forced to make this one...)

Well, I entered the promocode to this account (Mr.Large; konradovic87@web.de) and I got a "confirmation-email", that told me that everything is okay with this promocode... but i couldn′t login from day one!

What should I do now? Just want to enjoy the game...

is there any place where we can go with all this stupid problems etc? I mean, they released a product and it svcks and other people are still buying it. Maybe anyone could write few emails to known PC magazines? They should be interested.
