Invalid account info fix : Crysis

If you are having problems logging into Crysis 2 with your gamesas details, or if you are recieveing an error saying "Invalid account info" then we're very happy to tell you that there is a soltuion to this problem.

Simply go to "Edit Profile" at the top of the page (or click here: http://www.gamesas.com/forums/ucp.php)

Once there you can change your username (and password if you wish). This will sync up with your Crysis 2 account so you can use the same logins for both Crysis 2 and gamesas! Make sure to hit "save changes" otherwise it will not work.

If you choose to use this tool, please post in this thread and let us know if it helped.

Tried renaming my gamesas account to Jac70 which is the account I use in-game but received an error message. 'Invalid nickname given, please try another one'

Not that it really matters now. It's not as if I'm going to redeem the LE code at this stage.

well i can login now but i cant change my name back to "SONICDK" and now my name is "SONICDK1" wtf ? ;S

Same here! 'Invalid nickname given, please try another one' or "Invalid password given" when i am trying to change my password.

@Cry-Tom: So from now we can change out nickname every time we want ? And this will work in the MP as well? Woohoo !

WOW THANKS CRYTEK !!! I just changed my nickname ( didn't liked the last one) So this think IS taking effect in the game. It works. PS: I didn't have problems with the log-in.
I hope that you will let this feature in the gamesas.com !!! Here is a picture

Well better late then never , but those who already bought the game ,
from day 1 , probably didn't wait for this fix , and they possibly just made a new account ,
like i did.

Edit--> Now i see there is another issue rising with this fix. (nickname not rechangeable)

Works. Seems I may have crossposted because I either missed this post or beat you to the punch though.

I should note some half-made accounts which have errors logging into gamesas are still broken though.

@AID84: Yes if you change the nickname, all unlocks, ranks will remain the same, no changes, even the leaderboards is updating, with the new name !

No matter what nickname I type in (using only alphanumeric characters) I get "An error occured".

I bought this game... 3?... weeks ago and still can't play the MP

Nice it worked.
Only buggy thing is on gamesas , if i pressed edit profile while logged in with this account ,
when reaching the next screen i was back logged in with my other account.
I kept trying though and eventually it worked.

You dont change your password there. You must type ypu current password to apply the settings

I get no option to change my username, there's a "Sync your accounts" part, but it only requires me to fill in my Crysis 2 password...
If I changed my name though, would I be able to change it back? Cause the only reason I want to sync the accounts is to keep this username...
