Invalid Serial Key

I was playing yesterday happily with patch 1.2 already installed, had no problems. Quit the game, 2 hours later come back and I get that Invalid Serial Key error when trying to join multiplayer. Rebooting, re-inserting the key, nothing helped. Today I come back and there's still the same error, no-one on the forums seem to acknowledge it or to have found a fix. What the ****? I payed 35€ for this game, have been having problems since day one and now I can't even join the damn multiplayer anymore?

Retype your CD key int he login screen and it should work again :)

Strange i had your issue however retyping the cd key again int he login screen did work for me, contact EA support, maybe they give u new key.

Well crytek itis kinda funny the guys that pay and have a legit key have 1000 more problems than the pirates.. way to go!

I have the same problem, but it doesnt really make a difference because i could not even play it before this stupid **** bug happened. Crytek come one what the hell is going on i bought it for 60 freaking dollars dont you come at me and tell me my cd key is invalid

I've read some days ago a topic about someone who wrote EA , and they asked to include picture of the manual, dvd , key code to send it them and they gave a new key.

EA support is absolutely useless, already had the unfortunate need to contact them concerning Battlefield 2 and 2142 issues and I spent one week back and forth in emails, always getting very basic replies and solutions like "run the .exe in compatability mode; unninstall and reinstall; apply the full patch; scan for viruses; format your hard drive (yeah right!); re-install the patch again" and so on.

My parrot bickering on random keys would be more useful than those guys. I eventually gave up on support and after hours and hours of searching, and trial and error, managed to fix their retarded bugs myself.

So the community is really who I'm looking at.

yes it say expert technical support , but they only answer with basic replies .
the funny part is , when i say not able to log on my account , he instructed me to create new account , wtf?? what about my limited edition key that linked to that account , and he did not respond to that question .

and lucky, patch 1.2 fix the problem so i not lose my account with limited edition key .
