Hey everyone,

So I've re-installed morrowind on to my laptop. It's a Dual Core 2.26Ghz Macbook Pro, playing on a Windows XP partition virtualised in Parallels, onboard graphics.

I'm getting game breakingly bad inventory lag when I play. The second I click on an item there is a 5-10 second wait before the game becomes responsive again. Usually my FPS hovers between 20-30. My list of Mods are as follows:

- All Expansions properly patched, Morrowind Code Patch, Morrowind Patch Project
- Better Bodies, Better Heads, Better Beasts
- Galsiah's Character Development
- Spellcast reduce
- Fliggerty's More Quick Keys

And that's it. I really have to go minimalist. I have the graphics extender installed, but only to support widescreen resolution and nothing else.

Try the http://planetelderscrolls.gamespy.com/View.php?view=utilities.detail&id=22 (you don't need to launch MW from it, as long as it's open behind MW it will work)
It has the option to "Accelerate Mouse Pointer in menus"

Also, open your ini file and change this line:
Max FPS=240
to Max FPS=60

Both of these should help stabilize your FPS in menus.


Oh, and make sure you didn't turn the in-game Music Slider all the way to left (fully muted.) This causes problems.
