OK, I have Skyrim in english... I use Nexus Mod Manager and have SkyUI and SKSE installed. Everything was working fine until today. I recently reinstalled Windows (7) and restored Skyrim... everything works great, but now much of my inventory is in SPANISH! Anything with a general name, Elven Sword, Flame scroll, poison, etc. is in Spanish, while the rest of the inventory and game are in English. I have tried:

Verifying Cache (Steam)

Reinstalling SKSE and SkyUI

Loading earlier (known good) savegame

Obviously this is a setting somewhere? Can anyone help?

Open steam and then click on library. Then right click on Skyrim-> Properties -> Language.

What language do you see. !!!

You can try.

Disable SkyUI.

Go to: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Skyrim\Data\

and delete Skyrim - Interface.bsa

Hi, thanks for replying. My game is in English, verified by the language tab in Steam. I tried what you said, it replaced the interface.bsa, but that didn't help. With SkyUI disabled, the game crashes when I hit inventory, so I will need to find the list of mods I have that reply on SkyUI and disable them too. Keep in mind, it is not ALL of the inventory, just the generic items that are in Spanish. Named or Quest items are in English, as is the menus and dialogue/subtitles. Very weird.

UPDATE: OK, I managed to run the game without SkyUI, and using the vanilla inventory... still a bunch of items in Spanish! This is crazy... any other suggestions (please)?

FINAL: Hello, I had forgotten about a MOD I installed recently called "RARE ITEMS"... *THAT* was what did it... disabling it returned my inventory to normal!!! Thanks for the help, and a thumbs down to the MOD maker... next time please state your mod is in another language!
