...only YOU can see YOUR TEAM in glowing colors. It's almost undetectable to the opposition.

Yeah I prefered the Old Beta Invisibility.

They should do this and put armour mode to what it was in the beta, Before It made you like a Tank but in the final game its only meant to deflect explosions which svcks.

Well, if you were stupid enough to LET people detect you with cloaking, you DESERVE to DIE.

Both of the modes are balanced. I would by far prefer topics like this than 100+ topics about how one mode is WAY overpowered.

There is a module that can help your stealthing, perhaps check that out.

Translucent brown and blue is incredibly easy to spot in the game, if its almost "undetectable" than you probably have never killed a cloaked foe.

The Demo cloak was much harder to detect, the blue and brown stuff is just dumb.

Cloaked foes were fairly easy to spot in the Beta if you have a HD TV, Besides I liked the ability of being able to one hit melle a cloaked enemie.

I think the armor/camo are fine the way they are. Somebody in camo may not be completely invisible while up close and they're moving, but from a distance camo is definitely an advantage, armor is only meant to give a slight edge when fighting an opponent who's not in armor mode. Armor and Camo aren't meant to be god modes, that'd make the game pretty frustrating.

The camo and armour modes are both fine. Perhaps some of the weapons need balancing (see rest of topics on this forum) but the Armour Abilities are fine. Yes, I called them that.

It is called CLOAK, not INVISIBILITY!!! It only helps blend you in environment partially, giving a edge to go around the map undetected unless you standing in front of enemy or running right pass them. Demo cloak was overpowered, one hit kills wtf, that was just overpowered and over usage of armor and cloak in demo.

I thing is fair enough how it is balance now. Armor mode gives extra health with reduced damage, it doesn't work like shield as shown in Campaign. Little weird approach, but still Armor mode save lives a lot.

But Let ask you guys this, Nanosuit is gives your more health, but we still die like COD style, 3 to 6 shot kills, wtf I do not like this when this happens mostly of lag, otherwise with armor mode gives more health, still sometimes lag is really unfair :(

Every time I melee someone who's cloaked I always had to go for a second melee... I must have a fail connection.

In the 2nd Demo, not the final game.

Everything is a 2 hit melle unless you melle somebody while in cloak then its a 3 hit melle.

This.

Cloak is fine the way it is, I don't want the game to cater for players that need to be completely invisible just so they can get a 1 KD.

Good players don't need to be completely invisible.

The only maps that cloak is retarded is in Parking lot and a couple of the night maps as you blantantly appear as a blue ghost but it's fine how it is.

Leave it alone.

Good god what a terrible idea. The cloak is useful enough to be annoying as it is, complete invisibility would be game breaking. There is a pretty good reason they don't have it that way.

biching because you can't shot as many people in the back now! Cloak should be even easier to see when people move. Hide and seek gets old in an action game.

Get a high res monitor you imbeciles. Even with my lovely 1080p, invisibility lives up to its name. If you jerkoffs knew that when you run, it's easier to see, you wouldn't be some whiny little brat on the forums and you'd stick to svcking on your aunt rhonda's big toe.

Are you guys kidding? Stealth is useless! I walked inside a dark area when they didn't have anyway of detecting me but when I see the kill cam there is a way to obvious outline of where I was

I personally feel it's fine. As people have commented it's a 'Cloak' not 'invisibility'. It works well in certain situations but not all. Hence why you have power and armor mode which is great becuase it allows you to experiment and try out different ways to approach battles, and i praise Crytek for this.

I did like the clear look of the demo cloak but i can understand why it may not be suitable for the full game. However on dark levels cloak is pointless when you seem to glow. Personally i just wish the team colours would stay the same like some other games where friendly is one colour and enemies are the other. Not because i can't tell who is who but because on some levels a certain coloured cloak is alot harder to see than others. For example a blue cloak on the roof of skyline blends alot better than a brown cloak, the reverse is true for terminal. not a big thing but it would have been nice. Either way they did a much better job at cloak than some other games *cough* AvP *cough*
