[ISSUE] Invisible closes on NPC : IV

I have small problem you can see on the screenshot.([img]http://s002.radikal.ru/i197/1010/f3/bcf9564ae6fa.jpg[/img])
I have invisible mage robe.

I looked in Tes4Edit for the resources of that robe.
Mesh and texture is present and lies in right place.

Why it can be invisible in the game ?

I meet some mages with such issue (for example: "Raminus Polus")

Are the resources packed in a BSA? If so try unpacking them.

Resources of the robe lies in folders Meshes and Textures, I can see it in NifScope (mesh) and WTV (nVidia Texture viewer).

First time I has noticed this issue when i installed official DLCs. I has met mage which had attacked me.
He had spell book in inventory for study spell. I never met such mages (with book) before. This mage was in invisible robe.
After that i began to meet some mages with invisible robes too.

Should you really use both? As it seems to affect male chars, I'd double check the MaleBodyReplacer install. Do you have the mesh replacers for vanilla clothes/armors installed?

does it have a normal map (*_n.dds)?

That pinkish/purple bit around the ankles means there is a missing texture and the invisibility issue is caused by a missing normal map for the robe texture. A normal map has the same name as the texture, but with _n added to the end.

Actually I have 3 male body replacers:
--- Roberts Male Body v5 beta (body meshes and textures) - because of full pack of body textures
--- Seamless male Average body v5 beta (body meshes) - there are no textures
--- Robert Male Average Stock Clothing And Armor (change vanilla male closes) - only meshes and textures without ESP

I check in TES4Edit: it uses the same changes (in "Race") so no conflict may appear.

So I think it not a problem to use both ESP. (but now i think i can safely disable "MaleBodyReplacerV4.esp" for aesthetic reasons)

I have checked textures, normal maps and meshes all works fine.
B U T
When i renamed texture file "UOPRobe_Mage.dds" to "UOPRobeMage.dds" (and normal map file too) and edit mesh with this new name:
ALL began to WORK ! ! !

The issue was in symbol "_" in the texture filename !

I have buggy-salvation day today.

PS: Further investigation showed me that probably i used corrupted mesh-file for robes. When I took another mesh (from UOP 3.2.0) robes became visible.
