Invisible, Respawnable Super Mega Chest : V

Has anyone else heard or seen the chest talked about in this video?

Does anyone know if these were put in from Bethesda for us to find? Or is this some sort of bug, I saw it mentioned on a gamefaqs message board and was interested... anyone else found stuff like this yet?

I'd say the chest was made to be there but the designer forgot to toggle the "dont interact with this item" flag on it.

Stuff like this is for people who want to exploit the game. No problem here but my advice to bethesda is to at least lock the chests and put keys for them on the merchants

Is it a leveled chest? If so, does it re calibrate to your level everytime it respawns?

I just? tried to confirm this and i have not found the chest.
either two things happend: This is a bug only found in his game due to one/multiple criteria

It's a vendor chest for one of the Kahjiit traders, it just isn't sunk far enough under ground.

It really is there, unless 1.3 fixed it.

Looks like the person who made this video spawned a chest and made it re-spawn with certain items..

Or it could be vendor chests that is in the middle of nowhere..

Hmm, i will check this out later~ From the look of his MS paint snow though, it may just be a bug/glitch on his side/PC's only? I will post if it is in my game ^^

@ BoSStealthAgent: if you watched the video you would know =p but yes, it is a lvl'd chest, so the loot you find inside lvl's with you~ The higher the lvl, the better the loot~

They simply didn't hide the chest well enough... which is kinda crazy since it's invisible and in an obscure location.

Actually, they didn't hide it for a reason :spotted owl:
PC users can access a console so they can spawn any item they wish, this is basically something they put in for console users so they arnt completely left out~
It's there if you need it, but if you dont want to spoil the fun, then dont use it~ :celebrate:

That dagger spoof is what stands out. Pretty much 70% of everything is garbage, all you need are iron daggers and enchant them and you get a lot of gold.

I read about this somewhere and had to give it a shot. Heh, I loaded up me and my brand-new follower and went home. Very nice!

Meanwhile, my new follower must think I'm insane.

It's a Khajit trader's chest, apparently--hence the skooma and moon sugar. But it wasn't untagged in coding, it seems (to not be selectable).

Like how people keep stating it's the chest for Khajit traders. Yea, those of us that read the thread/watched the video know already.

Anyways, on topic, pretty funny. Go figure that someone ended up finding an invisible chest stuffed between some rocks out of the way. :lol:
