Invisible Torso Problem

I'm wondering if anyone can explain why the torsos of guards are invisible. It's only guards which i really don't understand

How did you go about installing OOO?

I used formid finder on a few of the guards and it says its missing a mesh from meshes\armor\nico's dreadweave armor\dreadweave cuirass.nif and that doesnt make sense because i don't have that installed and never did and a guard shouldn't be wearing that to start with. Also this problem doesn't affect all the guards only a few.

That is the mesh's path, not the owner of the mesh. It is likely that that is added by an overhaul, if you do not have any of Nico's mods installed. You want to know which plugin owns the mesh, and check the relevant mod's install config.

Did you use the OOO EXE to install OOO 1.33?

I installed it manually but I don't think OOO is the problem because when I disabled my bashed patch loaded up the game and then waited three days the problem went away.

That does not mean OOO is not at fault. Do you no which plugin owns the file? The Bashed Patch probably has many things imported into it. Start with the mods with plugin in Import Graphics, if you must go that route...

Use OBMM's BSA browser to confirm that they are indeed inside the MMM BSA. Is your MMM BSA named "Mart's Monster Mod for OOO.bsa"?

You could've just used the BSA browser. There was no reason to extract anything. However, I would next check the OOO install. The MMM team would have heard about this if they were supposed to be the ones providing these meshes. If someone else cannot verify this for you, I can check my OOO archive when I get home, and let you know if they should be in there. Check the Info for your OOO OMOD for these files as well.

I really do not know. I am also a little surprised that the guards are wearing Nico's armor, but maybe I just did not pay enough attention to them or something... :?

yeah i'm pretty sure that they shoudn't be wearing it. take a look at this lol

Seems that importing inventory from "Mart's Monster Mod - Hemingweys NPC and Guard Capes.esp" into the patch is what was causing this the whole time though i have no idea why it makes the guards wear nico's armor. sorry for all the confusion.

That's kind of good, haha... I guess you should not import that guy. Maybe you should let the author know, unless Nico's mod was listed as a requirement for that particular add-on...

Some how of another you have Activated the FCOM Entropic Order in MMMforOOO. :rolleyes:

Has that is only way that Guard with armor would have shown up. Which is missing from MMM.bsa once again. It is in FCOM_Convergence.bsa..so extracting it from the bsa is best solution for now.

Need to look into it further and see why entropic order got activated in MMMforOOO that is FCOM feature only..
