An iOS based inventory screen?

Not everyone has an ipad or iphone, but I saw the above app from Blizzard for WOW and it got me thinking about possible integrated apps for Skyrim.

I dont play WOW (i prefer my own private sandbox thanks) but it looks like the Mobile Armoury app is more for keeping track of the game world when you are offline. In the context of Skyrim, I was thinking it would be cool to have an inventory app used in combination with the game (over wifi) enabling you to equip spells, drink potions, switch weapons etc. without having to enter a menu screen or even interact with a HUD. You could also use it to read through journals or collected lore while away from the action of the game, on the bus or whatever. Or just marvel at how cool your character looks in that new codpiece...

Would anyone else download an app like that?

Todd Howard said in the GI issue they are creating the new menus and interface with this on mind: "What if Apple designed the menu?"

They are taking inspirations from things like iPod menus and stuff, but I don't think there will ever be an app for it, simply because it's not an online game.

hmmmmm........that actually might be a nice workaround for time pausing when in menus which i always hated. i figure if your stupid enough to poke around your pack without checking if the area is secure then you deserve to die. i would and since i just got my first smartphone i could actually use it for something.........since other than angry birds im not really using it that much.

make sure its both apple and android........and i think windows phones are out now to cause i remember seeing a commercial for them recently.
