I just downloaded the RH Ironsights mod, and its great...until I try to use a Chinese Assault rifle or normal Assault Rifle.
Neither of these actually aim down the sights...which is slightly annoying as all the other weapons do...


Does anyone know of any mods that add in automatic rifles that are compatible with the mod, as I'd still like to play with an assault rifle, just one that looks prettier, and that I can aim down the sights of?

OR does anyone know how to fix this problem?

I don't use RH's mod, but I would be very surprised if both the assault rifles weren't properly aligned. It sounds like you haven't installed it correctly.
I would suggest that you go through the read me and reinstall it.
In any case, any gun mod that you see that is noted as being aligned for Iron sights (and there are quite a few online) will be compatible with RH's mod.

In fact, even without it if the gun's .nif is properly aligned, and the "Don't use 1st Person IS animations" is unchecked in the GECK, you can look down the sights (though you won't get RH's other features).
If you have nifscope, its actually pretty easy (but can be time consuming) to align any weapon to use the sights.

Thanks. I reinstalled it EXACTLY the same way I installed it (well, I'm pretty sure I did, I must have missed out the one for the Assault Rifles) and it now works
