[REQ] Ironsights for laser weapons.

Post » Thu Aug 18, 2011 5:51 am

I've been unable to find a mod that adds ironsights to the Laser Rifle/Laser Pistol that doesn't change a ton of other things in the game. Does anyone know of any?

You could just download WMX/WME and only use the meshes for those guns. Put them in the data folder exactly as they appear in the mesh path and they'll replace the default ones (so long as archive invalidation is active).

Or E.V.E. It has the Coolest laser Ironsights, even if they are alittle off

That doesn't appear to work. At all.

You placed the
Meshes\WeaponModsixpanded\weapons\2handrifle\laserrifle\laserrifle.nif
file into the
meshes\weapons\2handrifle\laserrifle.nif
path?

And I did say "Mesh path", not the folder that WMX uses. The mesh path is the path the weapon is looking at to find the model (you can see it in GECK under the weapon form in the "Art" tab).

If that doesn't replace it, then something is very wrong (and make sure archive invalidation is on).

With everything set up, it still skews the aim and jerks back to the default lazy zoom position the devs left in.

Just installed all of WMX. Thanks anyway for the help. :)
