I ran across an irritating glitch when I try to repair a bow, either at the fighter's guild or a shop (the item is decent quality, but non-enchanted). As soon as I attempt to save after finishing the transaction, the game crashes to windows. I also tried leaving a bow for repair in the fighter's guild and sleeping for 24 hours, then retrieving it. The game runs fine, but then crashes when I try to save it. I have not tried with any other equipment, but I assume the results would be similar (again, this is non-enchanted equipment). Obviously, this makes it impossible to repair equipment. I have not read about this specific problem anywhere, so does anyone have any insights or experience with this particular crash? I assume we're talking Daggerfall here? I'm not familiar with the glitch. But...how did you acquire and install the game, and to where on your computer? DaggerfallSetup EN is, so far as I know, still considered the best DF to install, since it includes extra patches and content, and an all but foolproof auto install. Sadly, I can't reach the site to link it at the moment.
