Isn't it quite irritating to see only cabs and buses all aro

Post » Thu Aug 06, 2009 1:19 am

I've seen all the walkthroughs including the debut gameplay and the grand central station outside and inside gameplay. And I've noticed that the only cars that are around are taxis, buses and ambulances! Seems that these are the only civilian vehicles designed for Crysis 2... Pointless to say that it is quite irritating for me. But I am the only one who thinks that? I would like to hear your opinion too.

Early screenshots and magazine scans showed "normal" cars on the streets

Yes, but however these are not the only cars that exist in New York. I think that designing a few more cars won't hurt anyone.

Well the last few people who are still in the city have tried to get out by taxi and busses, then those alien thingys started coming up from the ground and ruined the road and many got ingured. Then the ambulances come and get some of them but just get stuck. - Thats why ^^

from the screenshots i know ive seen atleast 2 or 3 different car models and those in different colors. also once you got one ingame-car working and looking well, its just a matter of dumb time consuming work to make more, so no reason to worry if they (apparently) havent found the right moment to do that work. we've seen the player kick cars at enemies on E3 so the physics are working, and the driving was already there in crysis 1.

the words "mandatory civilian evacuation" pretty much sum up where all the cars have gone...
