ISO File Trouble

Post » Fri May 27, 2011 4:43 am

If anyone could help, it'll be really appreciated!

I have the GOTY edition of Oblivion on CD but I want to install it on my netbook, which has no CD drive. I made an iso of the GOTY edition, but when my netbook tries to play it, it says it is protected by a copyright. However, I do actually have the real CD, so I thought that using an ISO would work. Is there any way to make the ISO work? Thank you in advance!

It is against the EULA to use the game without the original disc.

Telling you how would open the door for people to make pirate copies of the game. As such, discussion of such methods, no matter how innocent your intent, is not allowed.

And FYI, no netbook can run Oblivion. If you could get it to work, the lack of cooling on the chips would most likely melt the plastic. I almost did trying to run a much lesser game on my netbook.

Netbooks with the nVidia Ion chipset would stand a chance of running the game, but the absence of a drive for the keydisk access control is not something you can overcome, and alternatives aren't open for discussion.
