My issue with roleplaying

The problem is that the game doesn't actually give you a chance to RP. You can metagame all you want, but you can't exactly help Vigilant Tyrannus purge the influence of Molag Bal from Markarth, can you?

That's true. I think in the next game, Bethesda should make it so each quest can go either way, and not just in one direction (I hate saying "one direction").

I find it hard to role-play in skyrim so I never do it. Making up some rules or w/e is the most RP-ing I've done.

Strangely enough, The most fun I have is when I play as myself. \? (???) /

I feel the same, honestly. I'll adapt to a certain playstyle, but I'll do every quest in the game. If I'm an Assassin, I'll still go through the Mages Guild with a Bow and Dagger. I grow too attached to a character to finish maybe one quest line or two, clear a few dungeons and call it a day to start a new one. There's so much to explore, it can literally take months to 100% a character, and you're already wanting to re-do 90% of it on another character again, so it never gets old.

Perhaps if I was on PC I would RP more effeciently.
