I had to fix my attributes and skills to have a better player because i didnt use effiecent leveling
anyway, i tried to fix it and everything is good except for this:

every skill i want to upgrade with modpcs, for exapmle: modpcs Blade 10 (Blade base 32 -> 42)
it suppose to add 10 points to 42, well it does...but then in Blade skill level 42 (in "setdebugtext 10 tdt") i see -336.46/46.85

and then when i train the skill normal like hitting a creature i summon the skill increases from -336.46...............................................

What, how do I fix this?

Until someone who understands this better drops by I think using the Set Skill/Set Attributes commands (setsv/setav instead of modpcs will give you the results you want.

Generally it is not necessary to level 'efficiently' or use cheats to develop an effective character. There's some things you should avoid doing and some ingame resources your guy could use, like poisons, spells and enchants to become more effective.

I tried increasing Major skills with player.setAV Destruction 65 and it did nothing i couldnt even level up if i slept in the bed....Destruction in the SKILLS menu was increased by ten but nothing else happened

Modpcs counts toward level increases, but it doesn't give you the necessary experience to go with the new skill level, so you have to "earn" those skill increases anyway.

So if you give yourself 10 skill points with modpcs, you'll still have to earn all the necessary experience for those 10 skill increases before you'll get any more.

And yeah-- setav just changes the base value for the skill-- it doesn't treat it as if you got increases in the skill, so it doesn't count toward level up.

Most consider that to be a good thing.

What version of the game do you have? Mine is 1.2.0201 and ModPcs works fine.

although you said i have to earn all the exp points if i use Modpcs i see people that it works fine...

Modpcs works fine for people who have a patched version of oblivion. If you have an old version you have to earn all that experience before your sjikk will start increasing normally again.

I don't know whether patchiong the game would fix your problem though, I think it would only prevent it from happening, so hopefully you kept a save from before you started messing with consoke commands.

ill patch the game and then Ill use the cheat...if you say it will work then i understand.
its always good those problems are fixed after a patch. not just in oblivion!
