Please at least ACKNOWLEDGE the fact that 95% of servers are broken and will not initiate games. We don't need to hear that a patch is coming out tomorrow, just need to hear that the engineers are aware and working on a fix.

Hi everyone,

We've been noticing some complaints about not being in touch with the community in regards to current issues with Crysis 2 and the purpose of this thread is to assure that we are working hard on resolving these issues as quickly as possible.

The reason it appears as though we're not keeping in touch is we reply to 1 thread and another 50 threads get put up straight afterwards. It is not humanly possible for us to post in even half of the threads that are being created, let alone most/all of them. To give an indication on how quickly threads are buried, this forum was created 4 days ago and there's now 1600+ threads and 12000+ posts. This amount of activity is great but it makes it difficult to communicate everything without having 20 stickies in each forum.

Please remain patient while we resolve these issues, we know a lot of you are very eager to jump in and play some games and we don't want to stop you from doing that at all. As soon as we've got any information we'll let you know via announcements, as always.
Look. I know that it is a headache to you but I only need a little of OFFICIAL info.

You promised a game with Dx11. I don't know why we doesn't have it on release date. But even Nvidia guys did not have this info.

What I need to know is that you are working in this... and an oficial date for the release. If in this official date it cannot be release, ok, tell us, and then change the date. But we need info. We have bought the game and we deserve it.

It is not so hard. You have a post about these kind of things linked from the main page... add some lines, and a lot of people will be more happy(and it does not mean happy)

If the information was not correct in the Tweet, then the people at Crytek should learn to communicate better with each other. Creating false hope is bound to end up in even more frustration and disappointment.

...and to add insult to injury there's also the hacking issue. Ok I know it's a well known problem with most fps games but... isn't it too soon for hack to be spread so close to the release date of the game. Hell, they were there on the Demo too but I thought, ok, it's a demo, who cares...

Fact,
as with the other response above many lines are put out faulty, and then resolved later, branded products of all types can and do go out in high volume. with faulty components that are resolved later.
there is never the uproar that i see here.

THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NO NEED FOR SOME OF THE ARROGANT POSTERING THAT I SEE HERE.

I have sais this before that the muliple multiples of same thread themes, are flooding the site, and at one stage stood the site on its head, and you ma well ask a question, that you will never find the answer to, as the thread will dissapear so far down you wont have the patience to look for it.

it works like this

You may have a question/something usefull/or complaint, whatever.
you look first to see if that matter may allready have a suitable thread in wich you can post.
If not, then and only then create another thread

If you just continue to make a new thread for the hell of it, you are responsible for most of the site issues

If they FIXED the game, and it WORKED AS PROMISED, people wouldn't need to post all these threads, would they?

That said.
Every server (16) crashes when the map impact is loaded.
Maybe just our servers. But i find it weird its just that map.

If I saw this though kill cam, I would easily be able to tell if he hacked right? Also do you think there would be permanent bans for hackers?

At first I thought this thread was about reporting issues and fixing in-game problems but it seems to be a dumping ground for crybabies. I, for one, support Crytek and I bought the game and I will work with the developers to make the game smoother.
Getting irate and mad is a bullet to the foot, so let's all make a piece circle and I'll pass around the piece pipes.

I have the following error: (MAY CONTAIN SPOILERS)

Toward the beginning of the game where you are trying to find the escape pods and get samples of alien tissue, you get into the elevator shaft, fall down it, go through the complex, realize it's human tissue and you have to leave. When I try to leave the area through what I believe is a window, my weapon disappears, I can't choose the tactical visor, and I can't pick anything or do anything. Either I'm going the wrong way, but I am 100% positive there is no other way out.

As a hardcoe Crysis wars player, i must say they killed the magic of Crysis. Crytek has gone for the? money and just made a COD clone with a nanosuit. Crysis 2 is a shadow of what it could have been. The suit feels clunky, and more of a tank instead of the suit from Crysis 1. Crysis 1 was a unique game, way ahead of its time. Crysis 2 is nothing special...the multiplayer is a complete joke..

all this flames for minor bugs... maybe you guys dont know what programming is... im a programmer too and i know what unbug mean.. its not as easy as it seems... and some bugs can come out only when lot of ppl using your program not before. the game is fun so just stop flames and be patient they are doing their best. for dx 11... well i bought new some new pc parts for this game.. but i dun care a lot about it the game got good graphic anyway. thx Crytek and thx Adam =)

I pre-ordered Crysis2 "Nano Edition" way back in October, 2010 for my son's birthday.
Figured pre-ordering that early, through the EA Store and pre-paying through PayPal
would ensure that Crysis2 "Nano Edition" would be on my doorstep within w week of it's
release, in plenty of time.

Why don't your CEO put a foot in the EA Distribution CEO's ASS and tell him or her
to get a move on!, ie; "Beeilen Sie sich"! They're making you all look bad...

With respect to your patching, multiplayer, graphic issues, etc.,
ALOT of us still haven't received the game.

now at the top of this page I see the words "The official crysis community"

how about you give some answers plz yes were all sure your working on fixing all the iusses.

its just that there is so many....

just seems all the new games that come out now are all broken.

Thats good to hear. Please note that the matchmaking of the multiplayer needs to amended.

Im in the middle east but it keeps matching me with europe n the us, its fine when the connection is good but it never is. Unless i get matched with someone in my region. I played 10 - 15 matches that were great then all of a sudden the way to level 13 with red dots n playing europe. I'm sure more than 12 ppl have bought this game in the region. Please fix this.

Also there is the NAT MODERATE STATUS. My PS3 is on the DMZ n has a NAT 2 but still the connection isn't working like it should where as other games they work great ex Black Ops.

PLEASE ADDRESS THESE ISSUES. THANK YOU.

this gaming company is done making pc games.
ALL PC USERS SHOULD JUST RETURN THEIR COPY.
this IS a defective product. go out and get your money back people.

Some people say that most of us are cry-babies (see what I did there?) and only nag instead of actually helping. Forgive me but I'm very pissed off not only about all the above mentioned issues but also by the fact that you can download the game cracked AND PLAY MULTI FOR FREE! I'm very sorry people, maybe you have more money than me, I accept that, but can you tell me why did I pay for this game when I could just get it from any torrent site and play as an equal with all the others? Do you all realize how stupid we ALL ARE?

Multiplayer on Xbox360.

I'm running fiberoptic internet and I can't get a game where I'm above 1 or 2 yellow bars but most of the time I'm a single red bar. Usually only one person in the room is full green bars. Guess who's on top of the list for kills.

The game online seems like it would be very fun to play for a long time but I am reduced to raising the BS flag every 4 seconds when I am shooting someone with an entire clip into his head and I die....just to watch the replay cam show me shooting everywhere but the person I'm aiming at.

Dedicated servers are nice if you live in the US. Anyone remember Left 4 Dead? Everyone that lives outside of the US completely ditched that game because of the horrible lag and the game died online except for the few from the US that played it.
IF YOU MAKE DEDICATED SERVERS, MAKE SURE YOU HAVE THEM FOR PEOPLE THAT LIVE OUTSIDE OF THE US ALSO!!!!
