Hello everyone,

I've just gotten back into modding Morrowind. I've been using MGE since last November and got some great results with it. But now, ever since I got back to it, it seems to cause issues.
As I mentioned I've taken a break from it and just returned with a fresh install of Morrowind GOTY.
The problem I got is that the shaders will just not work, or they work randomly to be more precise. This is whats driving me nuts. I've done everything I'm supposed to. Got my Direct X 9c patched up, checked all the boxes such as Hardware Shaders in MGE. It just seems to have a mind on its own. Sometimes they work, sometimes they dont. Sometimes it won't even let me create the distant land, I get an error message at the first stage. I always have to create the distant land before I install any additional shaders. Is that normal ? I don't remember it being like that...

I use the SVN build of MGE rev0120. I've tried the standard version too and older SVN releases. No help. The problem really only occure when I install custom shaders and most of all "Improved Water Shader v0.6 for MGE 3.8 by phal"

Heres a list of the shaders/mods I'd like to use:

Does anybody know if I need to customize some settings or something to get this stuff to work. How do you guys set things up to get them to work ?

Oh and by the way, its not my hardware or GPU drivers either. I meet all the requirements in terms of shader model and supported DirectX versions and such, so don't even bother going there. OS is Win 7 64bit. This can also not be the issue, because as I said, I've ran this stuff before back in November - January and it worked just fine.
I'm suspecting some sort of .ini file that gets stored somewhere. Because no matter how many times I uninstall Morrowind, each time I get back it seems to remember all my previous settings such as resolution, AA ect. I've looked into My Documents, ProgramData and all the usual places where most programs store such info, I couldn't find anything related to Morrowind or Bethesda

Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.
