On the PS3 version, since the last update, I can no longer go underwater without the game freezing up on me. I was recently in the Silent City Catacombs and saw a part where I could go under and right as my head is about to go under water, the game completely freezes up on me. I tried it outside in the Skyrim world map and got the same thing and also tried it in various other places and they all result in the same thing. It's becoming pretty annoying. I tried deleting all my autosaves and leaving just one actual save but still get the same thing. THERE'S TREASURE IN SOME OF THESE UNDERWATER PLACES!!!

It also even does it if I kneel down in shallow water. Anyone else experiencing this?

yeah i've been experiencing it when i try to swim in the lake outside Riften its quite annoying considering there is a side quest on the riften docks that i want to get.

anyway im not sure our voices will be heard considering how little Bethesda seems to care for play station users im amazed we got as many patches to "fix" the game as it was. anyway im not sure its the game it could be but it could also be a number of design flaws with the ps3 that it cant handle certain things. personally i think im going to trade my copy in for the Xbox equivalent

Edit: evidently this glitch with the water is apparently a common issue the fix i have found and am currently trying is deleting the skyrim data (not save files) from my ps3 and reinstalling and seeing if that works. it works for some people apparently.

Seeing how its the first pinned topic on this page, you don't have to go far to fnd a fix.

in my honest opinion there shouldn't even need to be a fix because this glitch shouldn't be there so long after release.

That's very odd huh.I have never had a problem with underwater visuals must be a very small percentage of people that have that.

I had the same problem but reinstalling data helped in a way. But another glitch appeared after that, my character dies constabtly for no reason, going out from home, after fast travel, falling through textures. I have no idea what to do about it. I'm a bit tired about all those glitches "exclusive" for ps3 :/ Freezing in water was annoying but you could cope with it. But now I literally cannot play the game. If it goes like this I'm gonna get rid off of my copy because it is getting annoying as hell.
