Issues with the MILA quest, please help

Hi all

Not sure what to do about this issue. I chose to do the Institute ending this time around in my playthrough, so naturally I had to kill the Railroad. Well, when I killed the railroad I thought that I got the notification saying I had failed my MIlA quest, but when I checked I hadn't. So I went to the designated location and placed it, hoping it would kick in there and fail it for me, only now it's telling me to take it to Tinker Tom's corpse. I hard saved and exited the game, hoping that upon loading it up again it will fix itself, I'll see tomorrow if that worked. I doubt it will though. There should be an option in place like there is for some other games where you can forcibly fail quests and start them over again at leisure. Not sure how difficult that would be but I'd like to continue my playthrough through the DLCs and I'd prefer not to have that quest cluttering my questlog.

Any support would be appreciated.

Thanks
