Issues with the Store...

So I was just on Store.ElderScrollsOnline.com and there some confusing stuff...

I thought if you bought the Imperial Edition you got access to "any race/any faction"... that's not listed anywhere in the store.

I thought if you bought the Imperial Edition you got access to the Monkey pet. They only show the Mudcrab pet.

Am I missing something?

- don't know about the 1st one

- you get the monkey pet for recruiting a friend in the last beta, the one prior to the one weekend just past. You will get the monkey at launch.

the imperial edidtion get everything a normal preorder gets(like any class/faction)

the monkey pet was for participating in beta it is not tied to imperial edition

get any race/any faction is part of the Explorers Pack that you get with either pre order.

It's not listed because anyone who pre-orders no matter what version gets to play as any race in any faction. Only those who get the Imperial Edition get to play as Imperials though.

The monkey is given to anyone who logged into the beta.

The monkey was for everyone on the September beta and also for anyone on the prior beta, no need to recruit anyone to get it

In that case as it was for beta, I would think you'd still get it at launch as it's not part of any particular pack.

I'd like to upgrade to Imperial edition from Standard.

Customer service told me to buy Imperial edition and they'll refund me Standard back.

The problem is, when I go to the Store. It says in both digital-editions " You already own this product ". Both Standard and Imperial are marked like this, even though I have only purchased Standard. This where CS stopped answering my mails. I believe they think I'm mad or just don't know how to help me.

Which means I cannot buy/upgrade to Imperial-edition with my current account unless they fix this. Making new account for this? Don't think so, refunding might go uncertain + is it really worth the trouble?

You can upgrade at launch on 4/4/14 as stated on the FAQ...not before.

They have said once it goes live you can upgrade in the store (same FAQ as I mentioned in my previous post)

They gave me an option. If I want to, I can buy the Imperial edition and they'll refund me the prize of standard. I cannot do that because buying Imperial is impossible for me as I stated in my original post.

Why would I want to do that. To have a mount in early access.

You don't understand and the lack of response from the customer service should be a hint for you. It has already being stated that the only way to upgrade is on launch day, so you are stuck until then with no mount. No way around it, and that's all over the FAQ if you even took the time to read it. Forget what someone that have no clue on costumer service told you as they will respond to you with canned answers and go read the game FAQ.....The only other way to upgrade at this point in time is to cancel your pre-order completely and buy it on a retailer (if any are left, doubt it) or of ebay (good luck getting the codes you need). I'm sorry for your problem and I understand completely what your issue is, there is just no way around it at this point in time.
