Item display

Maybe it's just a thing I like to do, but in Morrowind I was able to display all of my stuff I wanted to have displayed in my house as trophies. I've found in the last two games it's been a pain in the butt to display items and sometimes they will end up being all over the floor when I walk in. I just wish in Skyrim you were able to have more control over the items to display them. There's no point in having a house to store things in chests. It just makes your house a little more "Yours" being able to control how the items are placed and turned.

Well, Morrowind didn't have any real physics system, Oblivion and Skyrim does.

Skyrim is a definite improvement on OB, but I just wish you could rotate the held items instead of them keeping the same angle orientation (even if you try walking around)

I understand the physics engine and love it, but no rotation of items and items randomly flying off of shelves and tables prevent the display of items in your own unique way. I love the idea behind the manikins, weapons racks, and wall racks. I would just love to be able to have more control of the items I wish to place down. I filled bookcases with books and they have been scattered around the room when it loads up. I love the game so it's no big deal. I just wanted to see if other people felt the same way.
